i wanna do the same! maybe eventually i will quit obsessing... i am having the same problem the original poster is having... i eat healthy but really don't want to go over my sodium a lot so i won't eat the soup i want (just an example from tonight) and just eat a lot of fruit :/

I hate when someone asks me a question like "what movie are you watching" and i proceed to tell them, then they ask "oh what's that about?" then i start to tell them and it seems as if they are bored with me/not listening/ acting as if I AM the one who started the convo and i am wasting their time Small talk is the worst

this is actually my biggest pet peeve of all- when i say thank you and the other person says nothing at all and when i do something and people don't say thank you

I don't like to talk about it with people i know really because it is SUCH a touchy subject (see topic fat girl who likes being fat) but it also really bothers me when people say they like being obese because i can't figure out what is so great about it??

it's crazy how often this happens, especially with coworkers! it annoys me when people deliberately try to get me to quit my "diet" by giving me tips like "you should be able to eat anyhting you want!" all they can think about is food, they dont even take into consideration the type of crap ingredients that go into fast…

Thanks for the responses every one! it seems most of you agree that dairy is ok for losing weight (especially since i don't consume large quantities anyway) so i will keep eating it! And I think I will switch back to 2% milk and fatty yogurts as the taste in the no fat stuff is blah

I've lost 18 in total and I don't think I look any different but to me that is all the more reason to keep going. I sort of look at as a game I want to win (sore loser) so in my head i'm like "ok body how much is it gonna take to see a difference?" and I go at it every day working towards that.

I feel the same way you do mostly.. i hate wondering what people are thinking and people that watch me. I just bought weights for home and decided against getting yet another gym membership. (i know that isn't helpful to your question haha)

I see a lot of people who workout hard eating a lot of the same foods over again during the day. 3 bananas, 2 apples, 2 sandwichs, 2 bowls of cereal, peanut butter through out the day (just an example)

Am I the only person here who eats foods even if i don't like the way the taste simply because it's healthy? lol unsweetend plain greek yogurt makes me gag when i eat it but i buy it anyway! i also hate whole grain bread, pears, skim milk, healthy cereals, turkey/soy burgers but i still force em down

The simplest advice I can give you is to not even think about the excuses not to. When they pop in your head think of something totally different and just start making changes as if you have no other choice. It's really not as hard as your brain is trying to convince you.

I assumed sushi was somewhat ok to eat on a diet since the kind i get is one roll/6 pcs, with tuna, and salmon and rice mixture of sorts but when i asked the waitress about calories she said she had no idea and they dont have it posted on their website :/ so basically i hardly ever get sushi since i cant plug it into my MFP
