When I first signed up for MFP it asked me questions about my age, height, weight and activity level. MFP was the one that told me to keep it 1200 or less. Now with that said when I first started using this app two years ago I was religious abou it and I found it to be my goal to live with just as many calories as I could…

I am in the same boat as you. I can't be much help to you as I would like to hear from people about this as well.

The full moon especially the super full moon is always a bad thing for me at work. The crazies come out and thats not good in law enforcement.

The only thing I can say is if they want to eat like you, keep only healthy types of fooods in your house. Once I started, I stopped buying a lot of the stuff that would tempt me. After awhile other things were replaced. Meals in my house are all ways see food......'see this food, eat it or starve'. This way you will be…

From what I understand 1200 should be the minimum. Once you stay below that for too long your body will adjust (some call it starvation mode, I'll just say adjust) and stop burning so many calories. In other words your metablism will slow down so you will have enough energy stored for your major fuctions. It may seem…

Its hard...trust me that is something I am very clear on. I am also in my 30's and I have been working at this for two years. Make small changes that you can live with. Starting out you don't need to be all or nothing. You are making a lifestyle change not just going on a diet!

Don't give up. It took a while to put it on and it will take a while to get it off. Heck it took me about three months to loose my first 10! I can't tell you what anything was before that because I refused to let myself onto a scale for that time. Just remember it is a journey and sometimes you will have plateaus, go up…

I work 2300-0700 and the way I have logged is by the hour. If MFP shows its a new day then thats the day I post on. But this is my normal eating schedule on my work days. 0100-breakfast 0600-lunch (I need to do better...making myself eat this) 1800-dinner (biggest meal of the day for me seeing as I will be up all night) On…

If my wording confuses I'm sorry. I am just saying that for me that is how it is and I don't want that for myself. I am not saying that its a negative thing for those who want it. I have a masculine shape as it is that is not a negative. I was responding to the poster that said there could be a genitic link to some women…

Ok first I didn't call muscle definition masculine. I said if I were to lift heavy I would become bulky and more masculine than I would like. Not all women who lift will have this and it is something that I know about my body. There have been times in my journey where I have almost lost my neck due to muscle bulk and lord…

I have two fitness competitors that work with me one male and one female. This past week they have both told me that I was looking good. It made me feel good to hear that from someone who take it so seriously.

thank you

I would have to agree with you on the genetic part. I don't consider myself bulky now however it wouldn't take much effort for me to get that way. (I'm not bragging and as someone posted in a previous post I may just be a genetic freak.) What I consider bulky is not the Arnolds with a pony tail but more masculine then I…

I have to buy as I go. I have a few things that I don't mind wearing even though they are baggy but the undergarments were the first thing I had to replace. I still have my C cup bras but my now A boobs don't do so well in them any more. ;) I would recommend not spending a lot of money on anything you are buying right now…

Ok so we are clear I never said to work only one thing but to do a full body workout. But I get what you are saying and it is something that we all need to work on. The belly fat issue may have not been talked about by Google that much except the recent past, but it has always been an issue for women. For many of us…
