As the self appoionted queen of all coffee drinkers I will say it depends on how your body reacts. I work night shift so I go thru A LOT of coffee (about two pots or 8 to 10 cups a night). After shift I workout and then head home, shower and hit the bed. I'm out pretty quickly. ************THIS IS NOT SAYING THAT PEOPLE…

OH I have. I went shopping last summer with two of my friends. They had been supportive of me up until I had to ask one of them to take the size 8s back and get me a smaller size. She refuses to shop with me now. So now when I'm shopping I'll snap a pic of an outfit I want to get and send it to her asking what she thinks.…

I know how you feel. My husband didn't start calling me fat until I started loosing weight. Before he just wouldn't touch me but eye ball every skinny minny around. Now, I think he thinks it's cute or funny to tell me I have a fat a$% but it still hurts. I may have lost a lot of weight but I have more to go and it feels…

Yes lard is much better for cornbread but even in the southern groceries it is getting harder and harder to find. But when made right there is no better bread out there. You can add things like peppers or cheese but nothing beats the original..corn meal, grease (lard or crisco), eggs, and buttermilk! NOTICE THAT THERE WAS…

After I had my ankle surgery and balloned up well past anything I have ever been before I couldn't stand looking at myself in the mirror. My husband, was less than respoinsive to me and I knew I had to do something. I could no longer accept him only being interested in me when he had beer glasses on. My kids would walk…

I would have had two reactions in that situation the mature one and the one that my 13 year old would be jealous of. In that situation both would have been fitting. The mature side would have said "Yeah, maybe...you want some?' and just enjoyed the tv show. People like that don't deserve tears they are just pushing stuff…

This is my ultimate goal as well. One of my co-workers competes. So I have picked her brain a little here and there between sets in the gym. What she says is you have to tone as you go. Don't just get on the tread mill and run for hours at a time without any other exercises in the mix. As you are loosing weight you can…

I'm almost at 100lbs lost. I do have a little pooch of skin that only showes when I bend over and touch my toes. But that is going away slowly. This has taken over two years to do. I think if you take it slow and don't do any drastic fad dieting the loose skin can be kept under control.

Just got back from our beach vacation a few days ago and I too have gained. It was pretty much a pig fest between eating snacks by the pool and the booze that I had. Don't get discouraged! The way you get back on track is just how you were before you left. Dig in, suck it up and sweat! ;)

As a parent my eating habits changed after I had kids. I grew up eating home cooked meals but they were all southern foods. Momma fried EVERYTHING! I tried to give healthier choices. It was only after I started trying to loose weight did I drasticly change. I do not believe that processed foods are a part of anyone's…
