Workout at home in the mourning. Tons of free videos on Youtube. Team Beachbody has great videos (P90X, Hip Hop Abs, Insanity, etc.). There is a new one out called T25. No experience with it, but it is marketed for the time sensitive people. Some of these require only a water bottle. Some, a pull up bar and some resistance…

I have read that the average 40-42 min workout is 500-700 cal. I didn't use a heart rate monitor for while as well, but I have now purchased one. Using the online calculators I am burning about 700 calories per workout. But I do weigh 280 lbs, so with a workout time of 40 min at an average heart rate of 145-150 burns about…

You got it. It took me a while to not want to throw up while doing it. It does get easier, well easier that you don't want to throw up but that is about it. I had to start of slow (even just doing the warm-up the first couple of times was enough) and I had finished P90X about a month before. Insanity is a whole another…

Remember: Lifting weights will not make the average women bulky. You may however find yourself with a nicer butt, toned abs, strength, confidence, and a positive outlook.

Never mind the name brand of shoes. A new pair should feel as good as an old, beat up pair. Go to running/walking shoe store. Yes you will pay a bit more, but in the end it is well worth it. I know exactly what you are going through. I had planter fasciitis and it was not fun, and to boot (no pun intended), you cannot do…

I second the Optimum Nutrition. Lots of flavors taste great, goes down easy. Stick with whey protein to start off with. If you don't like texture then I highly advise to stay away from the casein protein powders (its more for serious lifters, people that what to put on weight anyway).

I use extra long compression style underwear. I find the regular ones will creep up into the crease of crotch. Get the good kind (I use Saxxs but that is no good to you), the ones that move moisture off of your skin.

If you are looking for some dumbbells try the Bowflex ones. There are super easy to use, lots of weight ranges and take up barely any room. They are however a bit pricey, I found my on Amazon at 30% off with free delivery. Also, check out a chin up bar. They are easy to make (check Youtube) or get one of the door ones.

Yes and no. By the end of day, if your goal is too lose weight, you must have burned more calories and you consumed. Now, you either consume less, or burn more. So, yes, if you exercise enough you will lose weight by processing more calories than you consumed. But there is a danger in this. If you are always relying on…

Check out Team Beachbody. They have tons of videos. I started working out at home because the going to the gym was just eating up to much time (and $50 month). Started out with P90X, then did Insanity, and thru in P90X One on One in there as well. All you need is pull up bar (good one $50), yoga mat, and some resistance…
