There is a yoga from Tony Hortons One on One video series that I do. It is called the Fountain of Youth. I don't know much about yoga myself so I don't know what you classify as. It is only 45 minutes long and it seems to be a half work half stretch/relax video.

Happens to me once in a while as well. Usually goes away in a day or two. Like most have said, usually a strength or flexibility issue. I usually use push up bars. That way the wrist stays more perpendicular to the shoulders (thus stronger) and you get more range of motion. They are fairly cheap. You can also use…

Either s**t or get off the pot. Excuses are for people that have time and energy to put off their dreams. Surgery is for extremely obese people. Far to many people get surgeries done that do not need it. If you want lose weight then lose it. Otherwise stop *****ing about being over weight and accept the fact that you will…

Ok, so I never even heard of candida before I read this post so I am defiantly not speaking from experience. Also, not a nutritional or health or dietary specialist in any way. But I do know something about thermodynamics. First law states that energy can be changed from one form to another but energy cannot be created or…

I'm doing P90X, with Insanity on some of the cardio days. The P90X cardio is just to easy after Insanity. Got the cardio in check, now it time to add some strength and power.

Sorry missed that. I skimmed the thread to quickly. They are right you should never go below you BMR. Calculate your TDEE to maintain your current weight (should be around 2000 calories) then multiply this by 20%. This 20% should be deficit that you are trying to create to loss fat. So if your TDEE is 2000 calories then a…

I agree, 15 pounds in 7 weeks, for a girl your size, that is tough. I don't think you will be able to drop that much weight without losing lean muscle mass. Lots of people often say they don't see the scale move when on Insanity but say they are much more toned. Have you done any measurements to compare? I have done a…

Which program are you doing (Classic, Lean, or Doubles)? The only program that has 2 workout days is the Doubles program. If you don't have time for 2 workouts then don't do it. The Classic program is more than sufficient for almost all people.

I have just finished 60 of Insanity and all I got to say, it was incredible. Near instant results, continuous improvement, motivation, energy, weight loss, and I am pretty sure Insanity cleaned my toilet a couple of times. That is how good it is. I don't know where people get this ruin your joints, knees thing from. I…

Tons of great home exercises videos. Some need little to no equipment. I have great success with Insanity and P90X. There are lots of other Team Beachbody videos. Lots of people love the 30 Day Shred. I stopped going the gym because it was just to time consuming. Now I wake up and 15 minutes later I am working out, hour…

I have just finished my Insanity today and was going to start a round of P90X. I have done P90X before and you really do increase your strength. I also like it because it is a fairly fast paced program so you also get some of the cardio results as well. Knowing what Insanity has done to me thou, I will replace a couple of…

I am currently kicking *kitten* with Insanity. It has been awesome. Also had great success with P90X. Heard lots of good things about Jillian Michaels but never tried it myself.

You are going to need a little more room that, not much though. There are some jumps and plank work that you need a little more room for (especially the Sport Interval Training). I know when the kids are downstairs watching I am also conscious of them which distracts me from the workout. I don't think you want to be…

Insanity kicks *kitten*. Two days left and never felt better or more motivated. You can handle it. Just start of slow, learn the form and the movements. Maybe do a workout, day off, workout, etc for a week or two. Then throw yourself to the wolves. I have also had great success with P90X and would recommend that any day as…

They were kinda close for me. The calculated calories were actually a bit low when I started, but I did weigh 285 lbs, Now that I down to 267 lbs and in 100X better shape I actually find it to be a little too high. Not a huge deal for me but for a smaller person it might give you some really false numbers.

Maybe just off day. We cannot be Super Woman (or Man) everyday. Try it again tomorrow and see how it goes. There were days (especially leg and back) where I was totally exhausted after and a couple I didn't finish.

There is an actually Insanity option on the database. It worked ok for me in the beginning but know I use a heart rate monitor and calculate the calories burned (online calculator). With many cardio exercises it is hard to have a default calories burned. Factors such as age, gender, intensity, weight, general fitness, etc.…

I am just finishing my Insanity and plan to go to P90X next. I have done a round of P90X about 18 months ago so I have some experience with it. I plan on doing the weight stuff of P90X, instead of doing the P90X cardio I am going to subsitute in some Insanity. Best of both worlds as far as I can see. Congrats on finishing…

Forgot to say good luck.

I am also doing Insanity (5 days left) and what I do is use a heart rate monitor. I take the total time and use the average heart. I then use a couple of calorie calculators. As a guideline they say between 600-700 calories per workout (first month). I found this to be a little bit low but I also do weigh 270 lbs. I never…

I was 285 lbs at 6'1" (male). I have one more week to go and I am down to 260 lbs. I have never been lazy and was fat because I would do stuff to a buffet that you should only see on Animal Planet. I had almost done a P90X about 6 months before this one. And of course got lazy, and back to the Animal Planet filming. So…

10 days left for me. Pretty much the same as what everyone else says. Not sure if you were active before or not, but if not take it SLOW. Learn the form, learn the form, did I say learn the form. Even have a Insanity prep week (workout, day off, workout, day off, etc). Do some stretching in between workouts. Nothing worse…

I take my weight every 3 or 4 days but I also understanding that the weight can fluctuate even though overall I know it is going down. You can gain or lose (or both) up to 2 pounds a day. I just use these numbers as a guide and don't put to much emphasis on them. I have my "weigh in" every 2 weeks, but look at the numbers…

P90X has a great 60 min stretch video. Stretches every aspect of your body. Also check out some yoga classes or videos (there are a million of these).

You can add me, as long as you don't mind me trash talking your Stampeders once in a while (Rider pride).

If you are new to exercising perhaps Insantiy ins't the best place to start. Like most people here said, it is intense but possible. I understand about the weight thing, when I started out I was 290 lbs. I was not new to exercise (I am fat because I cannot put the fork down), but it was tough. What I have told other people…

Good shoes are a must. In my experience with running one of two things happen when I started, either their muscles get to sore before they are winded or they get winded before their are sore. But wait it gets better, jog/run enough that your muscles get stronger then you start to lose your breath and vice versa with the…

If you want to walk, start with a good pair of WALKING shoes. Go to a walking/running store, pay a little bit of money and get a good pair. They should feel comfortable from the moment you put them on. Also, you might want to see a chiropractic to get your body straightened out. Also, they might be able to test your feet…

If your not tired, irritable, grouchy, moody, sleeping well (all signs you could not be eating enough) and you are having good gains in the gym, I wouldn't worry about it. Just listen to your body, it will tell you if it needs fuel. If you want to add a few calories, try a couple meal replacement drinks. If you don't have…

Not sure if anybody mentioned this or not (to lazy to read all the posts) but I eat the flavored tunas with celery. Easy way to get some veggies and it doesn't take long to feel full. I just scoop some tuna on the celery stick and enjoy. It helps cover up the test of celery.
