Years ago I was put on Wellbutrin for depression and I remember at the time the doctor called it the "happy, horny, skinny" type of antidepressant. It lived up to all of them for me. I didn't gain weight, i felt happier and my sex drive was crazy good. Each person is individual though and what I experience may not be what…

At the gym..I always wear a thong. At home..I almost always go commando. I wouldn't think guys were working out commando just because I would think that would be incredibly uncomfortable. But now that you put that in my mind I'm gonna be thinking about it when I'm lifting around all the guys tomorrow.hahahaha thanks a lot!…

Thank you for introducing me to the world of prancersize.lol I just watched a video and that has my vote for silliest exercise as well.lol But I guess whatever floats your boat and gets you moving. hahahaha

Thanks for the great suggestions and tips everyone! I'm definitely going to look at some of the youtube videos on grips. Like I said earlier..I'm learning something new each day. Have a great day everyone! ;)

Ahhh ok...thanks so much for the helpful information. I'm learning something new each day. ;)

No need for me to lighten up. I'm actually very easy going. I'm just tired of peoples sarcastic responses to people's questions. I mean we come here for help or advise and not to be jabbed at. I was looking for advice not sarcasm today.

So the thought on this is that I may be holding the dumbbells or bars too tight thus the pain/callusses? Just trying to understand. ;) Also is the purpose of the chalk just to keep my hands dry so i don't have to grip so tightly?

Seriously! Not necessary to be sarcastic..it was an honest question and I was looking for 'helpful' advise. I guess I will think twice about using the gloves since the others seem to believe they may hinder my grip. I just find some days it hurts to grip the weights because they are so rough. I haven't formed blisters or…

Are you sure we don't have the same in laws? lol Honestly I could have written your post.hahaha My father in law is a know it all about EVERYTHING. There is no sense in arguing with him or challenging him because he believes he is always right. I always walk away extremely frustrated. So I have decided just to sit there…

Just finished watching "The Dutchess"..a period movie..It was an absolutely tragic story and made me cry like a baby. I wasn't looking for a good cry tonight :( Now I need a comedy to just cheer me up.

I'm glad you asked this question. Seven weeks ago I dramatically changed the way I work out and my main focus has been weight training. I lift weights 4days a week and ALWAYs lift first and IF I have any energy left at the end of it I might do 10-15 minutes of skipping intervals or something similar. Most days I am…

I'm certainly no expert but my understanding has always been it's better to keep those sore muscles moving as it will speed your recovery. Now i'm not talking working the same muscle group again if you lift or doing another intense HIIT session if your legs are hurting, just get the blood flowing to the area. Do a gentle…

Nevermind..I know what it stands for now. ;)

What does NROWT stand for?

Yes, i meal plan and prep for the week ahead. I know what i like and my food varies very little from day to day. The only meal that is different from day to day is my dinner, other than that it's pretty much the same stuff. Depending how I feel I may change up my lunch from week to week. Example..one week it'll be chicken…

Don't I know it now. ;( And the funny thing (or not so funny thing) is the guy that sold them to me said he is a personal trainer so he knows his shoes. Huh..biggest load of crap i've heard. I'm using them just until I can find a reasonable priced pair of cross trainers, especially since I already dropped all this money on…

bumping because I wanna see what others think too. I recently purchased asics gel kayano 20 shoes for the gym. I spent around 180$ on them so they weren't cheap. I asked the sales person specifically if they were cross trainers. He goes on to tell me all of asics shoes are designed to be used for cross training and that…

Well, i dunno if she has or not but I find it rude to laugh at someones question. I am relatively new to MFP and have just recently been visiting some of its message boards. Mainly to try and learn from others and improve. I have found through observation lately that there are a lot of people who answer questions with such…
