I am "vegan". I would like to have less gluten in my diet. I went GF for a little bit and found an amazing GF pizza crust from the "wheat belly" cookbook. (sorry if there is more than one) Well, I lost the recipe. :( lol If I find it I'll post it. ;)

I agree, as I said above in a few replies my view of CE is different then what others would consider CE. My question is more based on what we as individuals view as CE. Which looking back probably should have specified. I assumed people were on the same page as CE being what we personal believe CE to be, and not a general…

Out of curiosity what you would consider to be CE? For me, it would be basically raw fruit and vegetables, nuts. Nothing processed. But in the real world, for me, I wouldn't not be able to live like that for the rest of my life. lol
-
I"m not arguing that fact. :/
-
I didn't say you had to follow CE, since all of us have a different view of what CE is.

I agree, it does all depend on what one considers CE, my vision of CE would probably differ from yours as well as others.

IMO, I think a more important question is, why aren't more people using CICO and CE together? CICO is necessary to lose weight but I think quality of food is equally important. I would think that using them together would compound success. Again, just my opinion. As for long term, I feel that after you have done CICO for…

I agree, by only cutting calories you will lose weight, but to get strong you must weight train. Weight training will also help you to burn fat more efficiently.

What type of workout have you been doing? Cardio or weight?

Main thing to remember is not to obsess. The basics are pretty straight forward. Calories in verse calories out. The hard part is the motivation, but that's what we are all here for. ;) Good luck and never be afraid to ask for help!

Have you ever done any body measurements? I've learned that numbers are kinda BS when going by the scale. Instead go by over all body mass, how you feel, and how your clothes fit. Look at the amount of sodium in your diet, as well as starchy foods, All of which will make you hold water weight and bloat. At least in my case…

I am back as well after 6 years, I didn't make the cut in the friends department. lol Sending a FR.

Lentils are a good source. For a cup its 18g of protein. Carbs are 40g but these are complex carbs, add in that they are also high in fiber you cant go wrong. They make a good pasta substitute as well. I wouldn't obsess on the carbs, as long as they are carbs from fruit and vegetable. Like mir1104 said, it's the simple…

The kits are yucky. You can sub. the mayo for honey mustard its really good And 3oz has 90cals. and 0.75g of fat. thats if its starkist chunk light tuna in water(package). And the honey mustard for 3tsp. only has 30 cals. and no fat.

You really dont need to worry about the natural sugar, its the added and unnatural sugars, like pop, and candy. the sugar that you get from fruit is fine you'll burn that off and its slower acting as well.

Just be glad you didn't have a wedgie. :)
