Using it right now! Love love love it. Michelle Tan from Nom Nom Paleo has some wonderful recipes for it. Her Instant Pot carnitas recipe is insanely good.

The Booth at the End (on Hulu). Short episodes, and unlike anything else out there. It only lasted 2 seasons but they were goooood...

Dinner last night - lamb kofta on the grill, and cauliflower hummus.

Ooh, what's in paleo oatmeal? Is it cauliflower?

Tina - can your husband make his own lunches to take some of the work and pressure off of you? My husband and I each make our own, so he can eat what he wants and I eat what I want.

You look amazing! And LOVE the costume!!!

Always happy to add new friends! I'm Jenn, 46 y.o. with over 100 lbs to lose. Have tons of recipes to share for anyone who is Paleo or LCHF.

I'm so grateful for this thread, to see we're not alone. I'm what I think is called "high-functioning depressive" -- I'm on medication to keep me from feeling like I want to cry all the time, and in work/social situations I'm high energy and positive so no-one knows... but every other moment I shut off, completely retreat…

Ben and Jerry's stopped making my favorite many years ago - Wavy Gravy. Could polish off a pint of that in seconds, it was so delicious. My new favorites are local to Philly, they're from a local company called Zsa's... they do a Salted Caramel, and a Chili Pepper Chocolate, that are not to be believed. They use a gelato…

People who crank the treadmill incline to the max height, and then hold on to the top of the machine for dear life to stay on. I can't concentrate on my own workout, because I want to get ready to catch them if they lose their grip and go flying backwards.

I'm at 1500 calories/day, I'm 5' tall and need to lose 100-120 pounds. I'd be happy with a pound a week, so I don't want to go under 1500 calories right now. I'll try the little snack before bed tonight and see if it helps...

My husband and I did one last summer and I loved it. A few tips: 1. Be prepared to work. Fresh food prep takes time, but it's worth it. Think about cooking in bulk on Sundays so you have food for the week, so you don't come home one night and decide to cheat because you're too tired to cook. 2. Order the W30 daily…

I'm near Philly, there are some amazing Salsa studios around here... and you're right, you can go out dancing almost any night of the week. It's awesome! There are maybe 3-4 west coast swing nights in PA/NJ every week now, which is better than it used to be. For other forms of swing (Lindy etc), I don't think there's much,…

Where do you live? I'm happy to point you towards good classes in your area if you ever want! :)

I wouldn't say I'm "good" at it yet, but I'm 1 year in to learning to play the drums: I'm also a competitive West Coast Swing dancer (well, I will be again once I lose some of this extra padding) and expert cat snorgler.

If you don't mind some advice -- please, PLEASE switch to a new doctor. What you're describing definitely isn't normal, and for a doctor to ignore your requests for help is unconscionable. Appearance aside, there is something going on in your body that's not supposed to be happening... and you have to be your own best…

Fridge: flavored seltzers, a huge fruit salad, a huge green salad, eggs, bacon, some veggies to grill, a few Hail Merry tarts, and lots of Paleo-friendly condiments. Freezer: a few packages of Cappellos almond-flour pasta, frozen shrimp, chicken, cooked ground beef, leftover soups.

This is a great recipe for using miracle/shiritake noodles, she calls it "Thai Oh My Coconut Chicken Soup": I'm not a big fan of those noodles, but this soup is amazing.

Well, I'm very happy for the angry rant above me because it bumped this thread so I could see it! Just had the best laugh I've had in a while, it made my day. (And the advice was spot on.)

OMG that dress is fantastic!!!! *drool* Amazing find (and the PRICE)!!!!

WOW! You look radiant. Congratulations! :)

I heard it was disgusting (which I guess was the point). Horrible waste of food IMO! :) Just eat a bit less and actually enjoy it, right???

Thanks! No lie, I love it so much I bought another in a smaller size so I could keep wearing it as I lose weight. LOL My favorite piece of clothing! <3 (And I love your profile pic! What a sweet doggie face!!!!)

I'm in the same boat (or airplane, so to speak). I travel a ton, and I've let if affect my waistline. I love eating out and consider it special, so I'm having to retrain my brain to say that when it's an every day thing, I have to eat regular food instead of "special" (big) meals. My formula has become: - Breakfast: eggs…

Hey everyone! Putting all my replies in one thread to save space... The fall coat is definitely loud, it grabs attention every time I wear it! No being shy when I pull that out of the closet... LOL Wow, thank you! You're so sweet!!!! Dev, what do you find on Zulily? Are there certain brands? :) I've bought shoes there but…

As a start: I'm Jenn, 46, work in a semi-creative corporate job. I've sort of made a name for myself by dressing a teeny bit different from others in my office, and am always looking for pieces that can help me bridge the gap between professional/corporate and casual/funky. My go-to brands tend to be: - Alfani (at Macys)…

Agree with the posters above. Also, think about what you're doing when you're eating -- if you're idle (such as watching TV) then replacing that with an activity might help you break the cycle.

Another "umpteen-er" here! :) We GOT this!!!!

Depending on the type of dancing, absolutely! Remember how much Kelly Osbourne lost when she was on Dancing With the Stars? :)
