I have a hot air popper too, and it may sound sorta weird but a little olive oil and salt goes a long way. Tastes great and hardly any calories.

More than can be counted accurately at this point. Many different reasons, but a strong motivator is that I simply love the way they look on myself and on others.

I was a normal-sized kid but became overweight at right about the time you start to give a crap about what you look like (middle school). So, I really consider myself to have always been overweight. I'm not at my GW yet, but I'm more than halfway there - 47 lbs down currently. Add me if you like, I'm always up for more…

I don't know about anyone else, but I plan on eating whatever I want on both Thanksgiving and Christmas with no guilt :) But that does mean just those two days, otherwise I am on my regular plan. Two days can't undo months and months of progress. I can't wait!

I work remotely and only see my co-workers in person every 4 mts. The last time I traveled back to the office, I was so excited to see who would notice that I'd lost 35 lbs. Only one of my co-workers said anything about it. It's possible more of them noticed but they just didn't say anything, it was hard to tell. I was a…

WOW! You look amazing - what a transformation! You're an inspiration to the rest of us :)

Hey Sarah! Welcome and congrats on taking those first steps. It truly will change your life, and we're here for you. Feel free to friend me if you like. I'm a little taller (5'6), but also started higher (250). I'm about 7 mts in to this journey, 46 lbs down, and work out 5-6 days a week. I'm also on here everyday (175+…

I have been consistently surprised throughout this process at how easy it's been for me. I've had a regular rate of loss of about 5-6 lbs a month (I don't really want to lose any faster than that, so it works), and I haven't had any setbacks (I'm almost 8 mts down now). The first couple of weeks were really the only hard…

I don't do cheat days but rather cheat meals. I don't have one very often...I originally set a limit for two per month, but I've found that I really only want one per month. The change I've made to what I eat on a daily basis has been very satisfying, so it's only an occasional need to eat outside the box lol That being…

I've been experiencing this a lot lately with the weight loss specifically. The women in my family have always seemed to be built...densely? I guess haha but people see my pictures and say that they can't believe I'm still 200+ lbs (5'6), or when I started that I wanted to lose 85+ lbs as that would apparently be too much.…

No regularly scheduled off days for me. I've found enough healthy/low-cal foods that I really like and enjoy making, so I fortunately don't feel the need to have cheat/off days very often. But occasionally, I'll get the craving for something fried or otherwise high-cal and I'll make an exception. I've found that craving…

I do the same thing - I usually make a loose plan for dinner though, but leave enough room in case things change, since dinner's my biggest meal of the day. I've found it works well that way.

I started higher, at 249, and I'm only down to 207 now, but I'm 5'6 and I've been told I'm hourglass shaped. My GW is 165.

Congrats to everyone! Amazing progress!! I'm 5'6, 25 yrs old, started at 249 and currently at 208. My goal is 165. Still a work in progress, but here's my most recent progress pic :)

Yes. 100% yes. They're great to look at when you're frustrated or needing motivation.

I love this!

I also go over in sugar everyday, but I've also been losing weight consistently for 6 months. It shouldn't impact your loss. And as everyone mentioned before, it's just a goal anyway :)

Thank you everyone! You're all so great and supportive, most of why I love this site so much! Thanks for all the kind words!!

Bump for HIMYM reference Lorenzo!

Thanks everyone! You guys are awesome!!

Wow. Just wow. You look gorgeous (both before and after!). You're such an inspiration to the rest of us. Thank you for posting! You're awesome! Oh and I like what you said last, you're right. It is your life.

Thanks everybody! I thought I looked younger too, but no one believes me...so I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees that. It's amazing how weight just adds on years...I'm 25 and people have always told me I look older. Now I see why.

Yes! That fixed it. Thanks :)

Congrats on your progress, you look great!! Losing the weight seems to change so much, how people view you and how they interact with you too. And more motivation is always great! Keep up the awesome work! :)

Congrats on the progress! Great work! I just hit 25 lbs down myself - but unfortunately not out of the obese category yet. Those are two great milestones!

I am so glad I'm not the only one! Jesuison - I feel your pain about wearing two bras. Once I figured out how much easier it was to work out with two bras on, my life changed! lol And I even wear two bras during my normal daily activities now. I always wondered if how we feel with two bras is how smaller-chested women feel…

Comparison pics are my best friend. Whenever another month has passed, I take a new pic and put it next to the day I started. And then I save that picture on my phone, and anytime I'm feeling unmotivated I pull it up, no matter where I am, and it gets me motivated again. Looking at other's progress pics always helps me…

Thank you so much!
