Yes, weighed my self Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Only gained 4 oz. I do not want to be part of the group who gains 8 to 10 pounds during the holidays.

My goal weight is two fold. I want get of BP Meds and weight under 200. I am 5 6 1/2 with a large frame. Currently, at 204 and want to start maintenance at around 185 to 190. Try this - multiply what you want to weight by 9 or 10. This will be the number of calories you can eat to maintain.

On the menu for Christmas Eve we have oven fried chicken, Deviled eggs, collard greens, steamed shrimp and baked beans. We will eat the left overs on for Christmas dinner.

Thanks for asking this. This is a concern for me also. My arms are smaller then they were when I started. They still have a way to go. I do lift weights. I think this helps. The pictures of others are encouraging.

My goal is to maintain. I lost since Thanksgiving but the next few weeks is when the challenge starts. I don't plan on over indulging. I do plan having a few foods that I usually don't eat. I also plan on keeping up with my workout routine.

I have not made an announcement to family or friends. When they notice and ask me what I am doing, then I tell them. This is a life style change so it want to focus on where I am going and focus on permanent changes.

I agree! I have added more weight training to my workout and see a difference all over. When I do my walking DVDs I use hand weights. Also purchased The biggest Loser Cardio Max, Power sculpt and Abs DVDs. Each of the include weights and Cardio. I

A reminder that God had spoke to me in 20005 about lacking self control in what I eat and a 2nd BP med added. Now I am down 38.8 and am down to 1 BP med with its mgs reduced 50%.
