I'd say use a lot of Bodyglide on your thighs.. or wear a pear of tight shorts underneath to stop the rubbing

If there are some fitness classes at the gym I'd try to look for one that I like... If you sign up for a 5k or something....that might motivate you to work out more

My very first half marathon I was 3:46:04 in 2007 I recently did one in March and was able to get it done in under 3 hrs.... I'm slowly taking steps on trying to be a little bit faster

Chicago in June.... My advice for the running is to try running on the sand at a beach... it kinda feels like running in mud.

Warrior Dash has a training guide....lists of exercises to go off of... I'd suggest trying to run on a sandy beach to get a feel for what it would be like to run on mud

I'm 31 now...but I tried to do the 30 by 30....and didn't get very far...but this past year I've gotten into gear and been better...I have a couple more pounds to go before I meet my mini-goal of 30lbs
