Wow I am slacking on the exercise this week :( I was supposed to run 4 miles yesterday, but didn't. And it was simply because I was being lazy. Now I regret it and I know I won't be able to work out tonight since one of my husband's sisters is in a musical we're going to that is an hour away :(

Accountable: 1. Logging every day - even when I know I will be over calories 2. Recording my weight on Tuesday mornings and not necessarily my lowest weight from the week (I weigh daily) as a way to ensure I see the impact water weight/reward days has on trends 3. Getting in extra walks during the day to help meet team…

I think other teams are losing members as well... they is supposed to be a restructuring next week. I'm glad the mileage is less, but I'm pretty bummed we didn't make it to Egypt though :(

Off to a good start! 4/1 - Group Power (cross training) 4/2 - 8 miles 4/3 - Rest

I'm still here as well! It's definitely hard to keep remembering to check this board (and I typically only log on to MFP forums at work - oops!). I'm holding it in pretty strong. It's my TOM, but I've only had a few pieces of chocolate (like one or two hershey's kisses) each day to keep my cravings at bay. I weighed in at…

I have a half marathon on May 1 that I'm trying to get ready for... last month I was able to get 42 miles in on top of lots of crosstraining. This month, I'm shooting for 65 miles (which includes my taper). Gotta stay accountable!

Nice analysis, MrTubbs! I am pretty excited that flights of stairs are one of the challenges this week... I live on the third floor of an apartment, and have a 10 week old puppy who needs a bathroom break pretty often. Shouldn't be a problem haha!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA. My puppy has had diarrhea for the past few days, and we are finally taking her to the vet this morning. I didn't get in a work out (besides a walk) Wednesday or Thursday due to a snowstorm and being home to care for the pup. I'm hoping to get in a good run tonight though to make up some…

Oh I didn't know I needed to post my egg recipe in a different thread! Whoops! I am actually up today from last week :( Bummer... hoping it's just water weight from my reward day. I'm supposed to take in 2,500 calories on reward days, but I went overboard and got closer to 3,300 calories that day. Not enough for more than…

Good morning everyone! We are heading to Hershey, PA this week in honor of Easter chocolate :) I know we're supposed to share egg recipes, but I honestly don't do much with them since they are delicious on their own! During the week I have a hard-boiled egg as a high-protein snack a few times. My favorite way to eat them…

MFP's numbers are there for safety to make sure people don't undereat... Are you particularly short or have some metabolic conditions that call for you eating under 1,000 daily? I'm not going to lie, it worries me to hear about how active you are and then hear that your eating is actually lower than what your diary states…

Hope everyone had a healthy St. Patrick's Day! My husband and I picked up our 8 week old lab puppy (named Penny!) on Wednesday night. From someone who was used to 8/9 hours of sleep, the new disjointed 6 hour nights are killing me. Regardless, I had a killer workout yesterday and I'm keeping my coffee calories within goal…

5'6.5" and want to lose another 35 lbs (I'm down 15 so far!). Feel free to add me :)

Don't forget to record your weight, everyone! Today is weigh-in day :)

Advice needed! I am taking pistachios as my snack at work this week (cracking the shells keeps my hands busy so I'm not mindlessly eating). I measured out the 1/2 cup of shelled pistachios I'm eating, but I'm wondering if anyone else knows a better way to track them without having to unshell them all and weigh them. Hope…

Just finished my long run of the week - 6 miles with an average 13:08 pace. Hoping to average around 12:30/mile when I run my next half in May!

Ahhh last week I barely had any cravings, but this week all I can do is think about Easter candy at the store :( Reward day can't come soon enough! I eat 1200-1500 Monday-Saturday, and then get 2500 cals on Sunday. Keeps me sane :) And overall I still net a loss that way.

Checking in today... I'm seeing some nice results from my carb cycling so far :) I saw 178.9 on the scale this morning (I weight every day so I track fluctuations). This is definitely the lowest I've been since my wedding, so its good to see the 170s again. I have a Group Power class today (which is a lot like Body Pump)…

Good morning everyone! I went to a killer Spinning class yesterday and stayed within my calories B) I'm currently following Chris Powell's Classic Carb Cycle, so yesterday was a Low-Carb day, but today is High-Carb. Yay for fruit! I work both of my jobs today, but fortunately one of my jobs is marketing at a local gym in…

Wow there sure is a ton of stuff to do for the challenge this week! Quick question... for mileage, is it only the miles that is active exercise (like my runs/cycling classes?) or do I count my daily steps? I take several walk breaks at work usually. And where do we keep track of any bonus points like the arm challenge?

Hi everyone! My name is Nicci and I'm a recent college graduate and a newlywed (as of Jan 16!). I was able to lose about 12 pounds before my wedding, but have gained a little bit of it back. I'd like to lose another 10+ pounds with this challenge before my next half marathon in May!

Please count me in :)

My husband (fiance at the time) got my an edible arrangement last Valentine's Day... Sweet but practical when I was trying to lose weight for the wedding!

Mashed with cayenne pepper :)

Slow and steady! I'm not losing as fast as I hoped, but I'm just thrilled to be losing weight :) This week I got into the 170s for the first time in a year and a half of yo-yoing. 179.5 yesterday! Shooting for a new goal of 172lbs by Christmas (instead of 165).
-
My goal used to be 135, but right now I'd just be happy to be below 150 (and at a healthy BMI). I have a pretty large build, so I'm thinking I probably won't drop below 140. I'll reevaluate once I get closer and see what my body fat % is :) I'd rather be 145 lbs and a size 6 than 135lbs and a size 8!

Some tips that I've seen online that I'm going to try to follow: - Eat small meals throughout the day... don't save your calories for one big meal. Still eat a healthy breakfast - Exercise to give yourself extra calories (lots of places do Turkey Trot 5ks) - Get everything you want, but do small spoonfuls to just get a…

Should have posted this two days ago, but "Today I" accepted a part-time job offer at a fitness center in town! It wasn't the original front desk position I was hoping for, but I will be starting in child care with the option to transition to front desk when a position becomes available... So excited to get started so I…

Bumping for later!

Today I have a second interview at the fitness center in town! If I get the job, it will give me extra time on my feet and a free gym membership (I REALLY want to go to classes again - they make working out a lot more fun!)
