  • I'm right there with everyone! Our ceremony will be 10/12/14 and I'm SO EXCITED! I'm a full time grad student, full time substitute teacher and working to lose weight. I'm down 10 lbs already, and would like to lose about 50 more before our wedding. Please add me, and let's keep each other on track!!

  • well I'm moving this summer... so my goals are to find a new job, to continue losing weight and to continue working out. Hopefully after I relocate, I can join a gym because I am NOT good at working out outside when it's hot out! haha and my biggest goal is to spend as little money as possible!!

  • :( I usually do mfp on my phone because it's convenient and I don't often have time to go on on my laptop when I am home. The MFP app (at least for me?) doesn't have the boards so I miss out on a lot I feel like. I wish they could have them on there! but I agree, we teachers need to support each other! :D

  • yay! Hi everyone! I'm 5'3" and medium/athletic build. I am aiming to get around 120/130 and pants size 6 (I currently squeeze into an 8 or am baggy in a 10. ugh). sounds like we have a good mix of subject areas here. :D
  • =\ Please don't use pepper spray on dogs unless it's an absolute emergency. my neighbor's dog was sprayed in the face THROUGH THE FENCE and he is now terrified of people. If it's an emergency, then it's understandable. But don't misunderstand natural curiosity for aggression.

  • there's hypo- and hyper-. hypo-thyroidism means that your thyroid and therefore metabolism is slower (i have this) hyper- means it's faster so you lose weight faster. it's not a huge issue, can be corrected very easily with medicine but you'll be on it for the rest of your life.
