  • A few months back I tried going that route. Upped the protein intake, and did the weight circuit at the gym pretty much daily, being careful to rotate exercises to give muscles time to rest and grow. I gained muscle, but the weight didn't budge, and I actually put on some extra fat around the tummy.
  • I've found that doing it this way helps me avoid over-eating. I always landed higher than my goal calorie intake when I recorded as I ate, but if I plan it out in advance I don't snack as much, or if I do, they're planned.
  • Yoga doesn't get easier... you get stronger. c: It's always better to look at it that way. If you're waiting for it to get easier, you won't like it, and you won't challenge yourself to grow.
