I tried weight watchers about 6 years ago and lost 22 lbs. My mom swears by it. It's basically just watching portions anyway right? So why pay someone to do that, just stick with MFP and save $! :smile:

Man! This thread really makes me feel better. We had chinese take out last night which was bad. To make it worse there were leftovers calling my name in the fridge at lunch time so........I answered the call and ate a little bit of it. Glad to know I'm not the only one with weaknesses!

Anyone ever tried the Gastric Diet? Don't eat anything before 11 am then make sure it's salad or soup. Then eat whatever you want for supper. Drink plenty of water. Stay away from milk products. don't feel bad i gave in to 2 chocolate chip cookies tonight! I passed on ice cream, i passed on cakes and pies, i passed on mt dew and pepsi but the chips ahoy did me in! we all get weak sometimes don't beat yourself up

I try to drink a big glass of water and if I'm still not satisfied I have a healthy snack like grapes or some other fruit.

just think of how great you will feel after you work out. when i'm lazy and don't do anything i'm always disgusted with myself afterwards!

I would always stop on my way to work and get a biscuit from a fast food place. Then there was alot of evenings when I would work late and stop and pick up take out(chinese, pizza, burgers). That really added on the pounds. So now I'm eating a whole lot healthier and saving $ too!
