Dorothy, I saw your story on walkathome.com and I read yours because I need to lose about 50 lbs so when I saw your picture here on MFP I said hey I just saw her story, so it was very surreal to see you here on MFP, Validation that its real thanks for sharing your story.

I wear a fitbit and just joined a challenge to get in a minimum of 10,000 steps per day for one year so I just pulled out my WAH DVDs Saturday, November 16th before I even knew there was a challenge here on MFP. I will do a combination of treadmill and DVDs just so I don't get bored with either. I am so glad I have others…

I thought carpet would help with the noise but the most it did was cause friction in which any time I touched the treadmill to increase or decrease speed or incline I got shocked every time.

I started using the TDEE method last week and I'm up 4 pounds and I did 30 Day Shred 5x, treadmill (50-60 minutes) 5x, I am ready to go back to MFP's suggested daily calories because I was losing at a steady pace or should I give it a few weeks

I think the calculation is a bit high, I burn 240-260 calories depending on how modified my workout is. Did you think it was too low or too high?

Today will be day 4 for the 30 Day Shred and I can say yesterday it was a bit easier than days one and two hoping by the end of next week I will feel ready to start level 2 without hesitation.
