I'm surprised to hear that works. My understanding (and personal experience, lost 50lbs) of Atkins was to get your body in ketosis and stay there. That's where the weight loss phenomenon takes place. To switch back and forth would just keep putting you back out of ketosis. Good luck. I'd love to hear how it works out over…

The elliptical is my fall back for sore days. 40 mins to and hour.

Or buy a 550 calorie Big Mac and drop some of the bread. Bam!

I've even logged what was I was going to eat, then went out to eat it.

Is it just me or is this off topic?

A Hardee's Texas Toast Egg, Bacon and Cheese sandwich with large coffee with milk and Spenda. What else?

I use the FitBit Flex and have had great success. While I may not always I have no problem eating back my calories as I see this as a life change and not a temp diet. I still want to enjoy certain foods and am willing to do the work to do so. I can do this and still loose the max 2 pounds per week.

I feel that way about Thai food (Chicken Gang Dang) because of the salt content. I think I must be retaining a ton of water after.

PANDORA. 2 Steps From Hell channel. Love it!

I'd skip the snacks and save the calories for a bigger, more fulfilling lunch. That's just me.

Everything you've mentioned is in the data base. You can create a recipe and add each ingredient.

Save yourself all the trouble. Order a square cheese pizza from Pizza Hut. It's only 250 cals a slice. Without the meat toppings and extra big crust, pizza is not a bad choice from most pizza joints.

I know this is a little off topic but I went on vacation this summer after 4 months of strict MFP and losing 30 lbs. Ate as much of whatever I wanted for an entire week (LOVED IT!) and really didn't exercise. I mean, I was really naughty. As soon as we got back in town, 7 days later, it was back on the wagon. It set me…

For breakfast my repertoire of foods is quite small. Lunch is a bit bigger. Dinner is where I get creative.

You must have a computer. You Tube is loaded with exercise videos.

On torn biceps: I tore mine doing chin ups from the rafters. One never knows. I was 45 if that matters.

I love my wrist straps especially for heavy shrugs and I also have a round squeezy thing in the car that I'll frequently crank out 100 per hand to strengthen my grip. It actually gets me sweating a bit.
So does lettuce, cucumber, tomatos, chicken your point?
I find that when I eat these types of food, especially the chicken, they tend to stay with me longer than donuts, cookies and chocolate. They're better calories thus I won't be craving more food again right away.

MFP already bakes in the deficit. You don't necessarily need to be below that.

It sounds like your condition is far worse than mine. I came down with the pain just as my running was becoming a real joy and my times were improving. I'm currently off of running and sticking with my elliptical machine for the next few weeks. I've also found these stretches http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbZzeO4P9YA to…

MFP just did a format change over. That may be the issue.

If you right click on the pic and "open it in a new window" you can see the whole thing. You look great!

My daughter has the same awareness of herself. She's content running at the high school track.

I'm OCD. Everyday, just before stepping into the shower. I love a good graph.
