I have learned to eat in moderation. I was listening to my friend one give me a rundown of her eating habits and she deprived herself so much of what she usually eat. She complains that she is always hungry (I can see why). I believe I am losing weight because I eat less of what I usually eat instead of cutting it out…

I have a 16 oz cup on my desk and drink 13 to 15 cups of water a day. The thing that helps me drink my water is drinking through a straw. I find it easier to drink that way. :-)

I didn't cut it out completely, but I have scaled it back alot to just twice a week, which is usually on the weekends. Even then, I may have 1-2 glasses of wine max. :-)

When I weighed myself everyday, it was really frustrating not to see results. Now I weigh myself every Monday morning before eating. This way if the results don't turn out like I want, I am not nearly as crushed but it also motivates me to add some time to my exercise or eliminate something that I am eating too much of.
