I have to agree, the faster you take the weight off, the faster you'll put it back on....plus some! And that amount of calories is crazy! You have to eat to lose! As long as you are active, you can eat more! Try eating the right stuff. Lots of fruits and veggies! And don't cut everything out of your diet. I still eat…

think if you were exercising more it might help too. Just a thought, it's worth a shot before you throw in the towel. I don't know how much time you have to exercise, but even mini workouts sqeezed in throughout the day can help tremendously. You might try it, anyways!?

I really don't go by the charts (most of them are really unrealistic, anyway!) When I'm at 150, I feel good and look good. I have alot of muscle so of course muscle is gonna weigh more. But I feel, for me anywhere between 150-160, would suit me!

Oh, I don't cut out fats completely. And I also have found I do better when I don't deprive myself of something. If I want it, I eat it. I just limit my portion of whatever I am having. I'm glad I'm not the only one on here that eats more than 1200! I haven't ate into my exercise calories yet. I usually won't even add them until the end of the day so I don't. And I seem to still average within my calorie limit, before I add them. I know there will be day's when I go over. But so far haven't! Thanks, all…

I would think it's a lot slower process! And they say excercise helps build your heart strong. I can't say for everyone, but it makes me feel good to do exercise! That's part of the complete package, is to lose the unwanted fat and have a strong heart! :wink:

You know what I do in the evenings? After dinner I usually will hop on the elliptical, and that seems to get rid of the cravings I have, it feels so good to do something good for yourself. If you have to have something sweet, have a small piece of candy. It works wonders!

I watch a good movie! I was on my treadmill the other day and before I knew it 45 minutes passed and I didn't even realize it. It helps alot!!

How do you guys eat only 1200 calories? My limit is about 1700, which is woking for me. I am a newbie here so have enjoyed reading everyones posts! oh and I don't eat my exercise calories back either.
