  • Love this post :) - Spending a lot more money on Healthy Food - Wow, gym clothes is very expensive! Having to buy gym clothes and shoes - Getting a lot of acne on my face do to the gym and sweating - Extra attention/compliments from people is embaressing BUT, it's all been worth it! I'm feeling great :)) Long journey ahead…
  • Thanks for posting this topic. I was wondering what some of those terms were as well :)
  • Just do it!! That's my advice, stop dwelling on it and get started NOW. Don't wait until Monday, or tomorrow. Remember it's 80% what you eat and 20% exercise. Eat healthy, and workout daily. Hopefully this is it and you're actually READY and SERIOUS about being more healthy and getting fit. Otherwise, you will eventually…
  • I LOVED reading your story! Congrats on your success, very inspirational and you look great!!!
  • I'm right there with you! I LOVE chips. I simply don't buy them anymore. If I do and they are in my house I will totally eat them ALL. :(
  • I loved your story, thanks for sharing. It really does make sense to re-train your mind. I like that you now sit down and truely enjoy your meals and eat nice and slowly. I'm going to try that too! The meals sound so delicious as you described them :)
  • You're soo right, it is an evil box :) Thanks for sharing your pictures. You look great!!! Congrats on your new hot body! :) I think we all need to remember that it's not all about the number on the scale.
  • You look great!! And much younger too! Can you tell us what you did??? Any specific workouts??
  • I think you need to increase your workouts. Do something that really get's your heart rate going. Like, sprints, jump rope. And if you start working out, then you need to eat more.
  • I don't care if it works. It sounds very unhealthy... Just because people are losing weight does not mean they are "healthy". Look at all the cholesterol involved. Eww... I bet their poop / gas stink bad !! lol
  • Sounds like your husband is not supportive and instead of helping you out, or encouraging you he is providing barriers and trying to sabbatoge your weight loss efforts. He is probabley feeling threatened, as other people have stated! Don't give up, stay strong and don't let him bring you down. And if it's going to take…
  • If you're boobs are still bouncing then you probably have a very cheap sports bra. A sports bra is supposed to keep them from bouncing, provide support and make your workout more comfortable. Deffinitly invest in good one. Also, perhaps you can put your sports bra over your bra, for now, for more support. I buy mine at Tj…
  • Nice hair and a cute outfit. Lip gloss? At least do a little color on your lips :0
  • Hmmm, it all started when I got a boyfriend and mainly all we did was Eat out!! Then I had my son and I got bigger. Then married and I got bigger! My second son and I got a little bigger. Also, eating when I was bored. My first "real" job and always eating out for lunch. Never exercising. Eating all junk food/bread/ w/…
  • No- I don't think you should count his calories. When he's ready if he wants/needs your help he will ask for it. It doesn't sound like he's too overweight based on height/weight. He could probably just use some exercise. I think you can help in other ways like cooking healthy meals, healthy snacks, no junk food at home…
  • I'm sorry you're going through this. :( My only advice is to stay strong, and work on developing healthy coping skills. Eating might make you feel good temporarily, but after you're going to feel like crap afterwards. Working out can be very theraputic, focus all your energy on that. I've been going to spinning class…
  • I have a Kindle Fire HD and I LOVE it. I bought it November of last year and have already read tons of books. It's easy to use, browse internet and watch shows/videos.
  • NOO! People that do... you're really just cheating yourself big time! Congrats on cleaning your house and possibly burning additional calories while doing it, but please don't count it as your "workout". I'm wondering if the people that log it in are the ones that don't truely work out.?? Hmm...
  • Yes, like other's are saying... where do you live? $30.00 for two people, one week supply is unreal here in California! AND, sadly, YES it's true... Healthy Food is WAY more expensive then junk food. Especially buying Organic foods, or organic free range chicken/meat. Nevertheless, I don't think individuals should use it…
  • You look very good! MUCH younger and I like the hair style change :)
  • Love this topic! What didn't work for me was NOT being fully comiitted. This is the first time for me actually being serious, committed and making THE DECISION to get fit. If you're not fully committed to make a life style change, if you have not actually decided... you will always go back to your old ways. I learned that…
  • I got my MSW last year and the knowledge I've gained is really priceless. I'm a much better social worker, and therefore my families/clients are benefiting. I don't regret it at all. As far as money, it really didn't make much of a difference at my current job, however, I have the option to apply for a supervisor... which…
  • No, totally not worth your health! I don't think your friend is working out, otherwise she would think twice about what she puts in her mouth. It's soo not worth it to me anymore. 1 slurpee is like 15 minutes on the treadmill or something close to that..... Or like 100 burbees lol Nevertheless, she does sound like a fun…
  • 45 minutes to an hour. I was told by a trainer not to work out more than 45 min, 60 min max. Go short and go hard. When you workout more than 1 hour your body releases the stress hormone called Cortisol, which eats your muscle. More does not always mean better. You should change it up and see if you see better results. 45…
  • Congrats on your weight loss, you look great and are a true motivation. Thanks for sharing!! I also really like your thinking and it sounds very much like a life style change. Also, I like that you eat freely on Saturdays :)
  • Congrats!! That's a BIG accomplishment. I can't wait until I can say that, 50lbs! I love your mason jar idea, I'm going to copy it ;)
  • You look amazing! I would LOVE to have arms like yours. Thanks sooo much for sharing. I wish we knew your workout routine! ;0
  • Haha! That's funny!! Yes, I agree-- financial responsibility is so important and says a lot! Goodluck! I wish I would have thought about that before haha
  • Abs are made in the kitchen. It's true! As long as you're eating junk, bad food... your midsection will stay the same.
  • I love this! Perfect advice :)
