Low carb tortillas are something I consider a treat once every few weeks for a quick saturday breakfast (burrito)...I'll only eat one, wouldn't eat them everyday. We buy the Tumaro brand & prefer the chia variety over the white for flavor. I generally avoid products that are manufactured to be low-carb alternatives.

are you drinking your water? sounds like dehydration.

I kinda throw my recipes together. Shirred eggs are just baked eggs, usually in cream/butter or a sauce like the creamed peas...just bake until eggs are set. I reduce heavy cream on the stove until it thickens to my liking, (reduce by half) & season w/ fresh nutmeg, white pepper, thyme (fresh & ground), salt. That's the…

Jimmy John's sub chain in the US makes an "unwich" we eat fairly often & would be easy to recreate at home. They lay out iceberg lettuce on their sub paper, fill it w/ sub meats & cheese...then roll it up in the paper. We like the Tumaro's brand of low carb tortillas here too, unfortunate you don't have the option.

x2! these sound great too!

If you like parm, you'd love fontinella (not fontina, which is a much softer cheese)...I cut thin slices of fontinella with thin slices of sopresatta & a few olives as a light dinner sometimes.

*high sodium intake causing water retention *stressing muscles during workouts retains water to help them heal (not likely you've put on muscle weight vs fat in a week...would take weeks for that to show a notable amount) *hormones (may or may not apply in your case) Even many more factors affect daily & even weekly…

same here, mostly due to sleep comfort not diet.

hormones. ...and if you can figure out a way to avoid them, plz share. although, I took a new position at work two years ago that caused a bit of stress eating. I finally have the upper hand on that tho.

I have a bunch of my own personal reasons for not chosing the gym for myself, including being unsociable (I enjoy working out alone), cost savings, time savings (I don't want to have to drive anywhere after work, before work, etc when I have the park right outside of work or my treadmill & weights at home...I work long…

You won't "pick up" any more water weight than what you intake. To be clear, sore muscles will hold on to water as they heal. They need water to heal, don't limit your intake to try to cut back on retention. Your walking would have to be fairly intense to hold on to any notable amount.

Only time I get anything remotely like a hot fash is when I go to bed on a full stomach, or eat near bedtime...mostly due to body heat from digestion. I'm 45 & can't wait for the real thing! #sarcasm

eat your asparagus! ...it's a natural diuretic btw

I made this blackened orange roughy over cajun cauliflower "rice" a couple weeks ago. It was awesome. less than 10 carbs on this plate...
-
I substitute grated cauliflower for rice in quite a few things. Radishes are a good sub for potatoes when cooked, they are mild & take on the flavor of what you cook them in very well.

We always have a bag of Fisher walnuts around for snacking. Tried the Diamond brand but they were way to bitter just for snacking. In a chocolate chip cookie, that might be a different story...

I'll bet in the majority of those cases, the "supplements" were being abused rather than taken as directed. If someone is desperate enough to try them, I could easily see this happening. That's one behavior that contributed to the ephedra ban.
