  • No kidding. He's a new guy here for help, providing full disclosure of the past. With that said, being here for help also means perhaps he didn't know the dangers of doing so. Explain the dangers if he is implying continuing rather than asking why it hasn't been "called out". You brought it up, you are discussing it.
  • well...in all fairness, it's clearly not a habit and doesn't seem to be in the future plans either. I don't think it's worth a beat down. eat what you eat, but eat LESS of it.
  • Lake Erie Walleye stuffed with Crab Imperial (topped w/ mayo, parm, paprika) ...and side of cauli-rice mixed w/ wild black & mahogany rice (adds <10g carbs to serving, high fiber)
  • Needs more garlic
  • Exactly. It wouldn't be hard for me not to touch the food after random people were grazing all day/night. I don't do buffets.
  • I didn't buy until I was two sizes down at a time...I'm sure I looked like a dope at times, and even then I only bought a couple things to get me through to the next two sizes down. Secondhand stores are great if you are planning on continuing to lose.
  • ...because low-carbing is dependent on eggs. got it. I agree with the other suggestions, eat what you'd eat at any other time of the day.
  • love it on a spoon w/ a quick squirt of redi-whip & a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • DILL PICKLES! I dry them on a paper towel first...either hamburger chips or spears, it's all good.
  • Have you just started the "good amount of exercise" as well or have you been going to the gym for a while? Freshly stressed muscle will retain water. 3-Days? Advice: Stick with it for a month & hide your scale...then worry about it if you don't like the numbers. Also being a female, you will have fluctuations due to…
  • you need to consider your hormones & where you are in your monthly cycle as well.
  • I try to ignore it & stomp around the house angrily.
  • I do enjoy cottage cheese, absolutely not the low fat version. Also, there is only ONE brand I will eat here. Have tried several, and the rest are definitely chalky and hard to get down. Possibly another brand that's higher fat & creamier might suit you, but it seems you may have had a bad experience that no experimenting…
  • @jennybills78 what kind of cheese did you use? looks good
  • scrambled w/ goat cheese, caramelized shallots, parsley & smoked paprika fryed in butter, over thin toasts with green onion, cracked black pepper & avocado chili cheese omelette shirred eggs w/ fresh herbs & parm
  • Jimmy John's Unwich...w/ extra meats & extra mayo, otherwise it has way too much lettuce for the fillings & dry. Arby's (mid) Roast Beef w/ lettuce, tomato, mayo...no bun Big Mac, no bun...+extra burger patty from a reg burger. Oh yeah, Chik-Fil-A has grilled chicken nuggets too...I keep meaning to try those. The garlic &…
  • I've noticed some brown eggs have a thicker membrane...the shell cracks just fine, but that inner layer can be a pain in the butt to break through. What the chickens are fed makes a bit of difference too. Feeding them old egg shells & crushed sea shells helps strengthen/thicken the eggs they lay
  • I'm just going to leave this here... but yeah...they're nothing like they used to be :(
  • If you give up any diet & go back to the way you were previously eating, you will gain it right back. Low carb isn't any more unique in that way.
  • Are you using pre-packaged salad lettuce that doesn't require rinsing? I've heard that can affect some ppl & their digestive system due to what they treat it w/ to keep it fresh. I can certainly tell the difference in taste vs fresh produce. I buy the packaged mixed lettuces & rinse them before I consume even if they are…
  • http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10511161/laxatives-abuse/p1 ...almost seems as if OP isn't seeing/recognizing this as an ED & only telling the Dr enough (false or misleading) info to enable the problem. Not unlike the conversations happening in these two threads. Or trolling. Someone needs an intervention…
  • do you binge & purge?
  • are you bulimic as well? facial swelling is common.
  • If you are interested, buy only one to start & see how you like them. I wasted a lot of money on a "package deal" that ended up in my trash. The texture & flavor do not appeal to me, nothing like noodles or rice at all.
  • Most, if not all fast food or carry out places have online menus w/ nutrition listed. Start there.
  • We usually visit once a year, my mom enjoys it. I enjoy the fish tacos there, bang bang chicken & shrimp is tasty (but very caloric)...the ahi carpaccio is a good app, I like the fire-roasted artichoke & the Thai lettuce wraps too. The menu is huge & will make your head spin, especially if you are hungry & haven't made a…
  • If you don't do much cooking for yourself, it can be difficult to find easy to grab foods. There are plenty of recipes out there that are delicious, but you have to put some time & effort in to cooking if you want variety. Not sure where you are from, but plenty of fast food places can accomodate low carb, bunless options.…
  • nice! will be trying soon, thanks!
  • Asparagus is a natural diuretic. If you aren't already eating it, and if you enjoy it, try to work it into your meals. When I have it as a side with meals, I'm running to the bathroom far more often than usual. Good luck!
  • You may never like it. I can't stand left over chicken unless it's cold, it just gets a really gross taste to me when it's reheated.
