I use exercise as a tool to keep me in check with my diet...if I'm taking the time to workout, I'm less likely to blow my exercise efforts by overeating.

yes backstrap! I often get meat from my father's pals when they hunt. I'm making elk chili tonight in fact, from a pound of ground & a pound of elk steaks I need to use up, adding a bit of fatty beef & chorizo. There's a place called Broken Arrow Ranch that specializes in game meats as well. We've bought from there before,…

I just had my 18th anniversary at my desk job...in that time I've gained & lost over 100#. I walk during lunch, or steps in the bldg and then stop for a workout before I head home at night. I also avoid the lunchroom. I start work at 8a & home around 6:30p

at least you're consistent...amiright?

Green onion & cream cheese scrambled into eggs! I do love ketchup on fluffy scrambled eggs. Eggs get to me pretty quick & make me gaggy, but ketchup gets me through.

I made parm crisps last night, dropped Tbsps onto parchment & lightly flattened, 400f for 5-8 min or til golden & crisp.

Yeah, ketosis does not automatically equal loss, only that you are adapted for fat loss. You still have to watch calories, over on anything will result in not losing, or even possible gains. Anything in excess will get stored as fat. If you've been at walking for 3 weeks, your body should be well adapted to it by now & I…

sounds like you're having digestion issues from it? If you're only eating it twice a month, it shouldn't be that big of a problem to find an alternative. Most grocery stores have salad bars & hot food counters with plenty of fresh food on them.

I stick to my diet, stomp around the house & go to bed angry for a few days...it will pass

in all fairness, the OP said "training hard and heavy for around two months"...this does not indicate that she's only been training for this long, but perhaps lifting for years and recently been busting-*kitten* on it. ...I could be wrong, but there's that.

If you're a fan of Hellman's you'd like Kraft Real Mayo (not Miracle Whip) as well...not sure of the soy content though. I buy Kraft when Hellman's isn't available.

I'm curious about the nutritional data on your protein shakes...you could be shooting yourself in the foot if they are intended as meal replacements vs protein suppliment

I work the same hours, sitting all day long. I hit the gym everyday after work, before I head home. During the summer, I also walk the park right outside the door on my lunch hour.
