back into single-digit jean size today...about 40# of my 50# stress-eating gain from two years ago is gone. I have about 10# to go by summer. That's my plan & I'm sticking to it.

I just tell them low or no salt when ordering, they usually have no problem accomodating.
-
pre-plan all meals...if that gets tossed out the window due to some unexpected get-together, I use portion control. I could drink my meals on the weekends & skip food altogether, but we don't need to discuss that.

burn more calories than you eat = calorie deficit

typically, broth is a vehicle for salt on a fast

I agree with this. I know from your other thread, your time is limited and you don't really do much cooking. If you want to resort to precooked meals, I'd recommend the above as well.

hmmm...anyone try tossing some (warmed in the microwave) pork rind pieces w/ melted butter & salt, ala popcorn style? An addition of splenda or sweetener might give it a kettle corn kick as well...or butter, parm & cracked black pepper is a combo I've loved on popcorn too. it would be a fat bomb, but I think I could deal…

if this is the case...it's a sh*tty relationship & has no substance to begin w/. but... I suspect the same. who knows the whole story anyway. yay speculation!

Adidas makes some nice trail runners, all I buy

how much water are you getting? with exercise, if I'm dehyrated, I tend to ache as well

zucchini nicks super easy, I'd trim/eat it...but yeah as others said, send an email

edited for comprehension purposes. Your weightloss is fairly common for your size & just starting, it will slow. Don't be discouraged, and I wouldn't weigh more than once a week...less if you can avoid it.

where the heck are these Drs that so easily give out prescriptions? Mine would always tell me I need to lose weight but would NEVER offer up meds for it, not that I wanted them either. I believe they typically reduce your appetite, so you'll consume less, which really isn't going to teach you anything about eating…

I stress ate my way back up 40# after getting a new position at work...after a year of this nonsense, I had it in my head that work & the idiots here are NOT going to get the best of me & I'm the one with control. I stop myself & get my head in the game, think about it a minute before I grab at unnecessary foods. Exercise…

I typically don't eat anything with soup, but I have made fried halloumi cheese (in butter) along with tomato soup for a "grilled cheese & tomato soup" type-flavor.
-
I love sashimi. Cheese sticks and cottage cheese are good snacky choices too. Change up your meats/eggs with chicken/tuna salad and deviled eggs...all kinds of flavors you can experiment with there

I do straight aged tequila w/ a glass of water in the side, sipping not shooting. I switched from beer drinking to this. The only issue I encountered, was learning to sip rather than pouring it down my throat like beer.

Made a pot of collards with smoked turkey leg last night for a few meals...love this stuff, crap-tons of flavor I think I'm done with this thread until they get the photo issues addressed, it's making me insane.

this is my lunch most days. I can make a packet last for 4 cups (small foam coffee cup @ work)...about double what the soup pack calls for. I add heavy cream for cream-style soup. These are so cheap, I don't feel bad about tossing the noodles away.

anything formulated to be "diet" food...I'll work the real stuff into my day if I crave.

I made "tortillas" out of almond meal/flax seed once...I'll see if I can dig up how I did it edit: I believe this is the recipe. I used my tortilla press, as suggested and cut them into quarters before baking.

We make this recipe every now & then. It's fantastic as a side with steaks...similar to caramelized onions, so tasty! roasted fennel with parmesan *It smells super strong when it's roasted, don't be put off. It's delicious and the flavor is far more mellow.

not much different than a hot buttered rum ...except coffee
-
be warned, you'd likely over indulge in dates only once...they keep you "regular" if you know what I mean.

this. I no longer look for food "replacements" or alternatives to the real thing.

I like to mix a couple tbsp of mayo w/ about a half cup of sour cream & a squirt of fresh lime juice for a sauce w/ mexi foods. The mayo cuts the sour cream nicely.

Good thinking on the coconut oil! I have a 5# tub of lard, but it never goes bad lol
-
don't let your oil go above 350f, takes about 10 min for them to brown/crisp!
