  • I made my last batch of "stock" out of chicken feet and it was delicious! Rich and thick and perfect for cooking. I thought the benefit was in the gelatin and minerals extracted from the bones while cooking. If it gels when cooled, it is "better for you" than "broth". (I went a little crazy with the "quotation marks") :-P
  • I like dark chocolate with a touch of salt. I tend to splurge on "Kind" nut bars... They are not too sweet and have healthy fats from the almonds. Or sometime I will blend frozen bananas or skim milk with chocolate protein powder for a milkshake. But my sweet tooth is all the time, not just once a month. I crave red meat…
  • This is going to sound crazy, but I was diagnosed with celiacs disease a little over a year ago and I have gained 2 cup sizes since cutting the wheat out of my diet. My weight has gone up (about 20 pounds) but I wear a smaller dress size. Crazy what eating what the body needs (and cutting out what it doesn't) can do!
