It gives me encouragement and hope. Thank you! :-D

Not really. I do have occasional treats but limit the amount. If I quit all of my favorites my loss will not be sustained. Don't worry about what others say. If it's working for you, how can anyone argue with your process? Besides, those are usually the people who judge things they shouldn't and offer opinions no one wants…

Why put yourself at risk by an such an unhealthy habit? The behavior is not normal and sets you up for an eating disorder. If you want to be safe and actually adopt a healthy lifestyle, it's truly about moderation. No short cuts. Budget your calories for the day and save a few for snacks. Don't flirt with danger. Period.

Hi. Retaining excess urine can lead to a back up (reflux) into your kidneys. This, left unchecked, could lead to kidney failure. The lump could be any number of things, so I strongly recommend that you get yourself to a doctor. This is NOT normal and could leak to some serious issues.

Thanks for asking the question. My husband is really allergic as well... I need a substitution as well.

I'm sorry, but what does "bump" mean???

I like it 3 ways: roasted with olive oil and balsamic vinegar steamed and then a sprinkle of olive oil and your favorite seasoning blend i.e. Mrs. Dash simply raw (tastes like green peas from the garden) GOOD STUFF!!

Good suggestions. I struggle with this problem a lot, so I really appreciate your ideas!

Sorry you had to endure that. He's clueless and a pill. Consider the source and don't darken his doorstop again... and share your story with anyone who will listen.

Yes, it can be frustrating. After all, you're working hard to lose weight and it would be nice to get affirmation from those you know, be it family or friends. Question: Did you try updating your clothing to a style that flatters your new form? I know that many people lose wt the keep dressing the same way... i.e the same…

1. Better fitting clothes. 2. Wanting to ride my exercise bike each morning 3. Feeling better overall... more energy. My weight loss is soooooo slow, but I just keep plugging away. I am a little worried that I will lose my motivation though. :-/

Absolutely! The important thing is that she has made the lifestyle change to loose the wt. Yes, surgery was the catalyst, but she still had to be disciplined enough to walk away from the food! I see the effects of diabetes in my workplace every day. Wt. loss surgery is a reliable way to combat Type II Diabetes. Whatever it…

Boo. Not nice. I'm sure she was desperate... many of us are. It wouldn't be my choice, but clearly it was hers. We're to be supportive and encouraging. It was a brave move.

Eating well doesn't have to = boring. Check out Food Network.com. Bobby Flay has some good healthy alternatives since he lost weight and got moving. He's all about big, bold flavors.... nothing boring about that!

Amazing! You look totally amazing! What an inspiration! Thank you for sharing! :-D

HI! Try Chobani, Oika and/or Dannon. I guess my favorites are Chobani and the Oika. Are you getting the plain yogurt or the kind with fruit?

Hey Girl! You're inspiring me to keep plugging away on my wt. loss journey!! Congratulations on your accomplishement and thanks for showing us your pictures. :-D

Yes, my husband and daughters are very encouraging. They are complementary of my progress and often go for walks with me. That said, my husband would benefit from joining me on my weight loss journey, but we all know that we have to come to that decision (to lose wt) by ourselves. My husband does the grocery shopping and…
