I think you're suppose to count that as your activity level.

Chips, bacon, sausage...I never really crave salty things.

Soups are simple to make and easy to add extra veggies too. Open face sandwiches may be a good choice if you are careful about your meats and cheeses. I don't know if you can get these in the UK, but Ziplock makes a neat Zip and Steam bag. Just throw in your meat, veggies and seasonings and toss in the microwave.…

It is hard when that scale doesn't move. Especially when you feel like you are doing things right! I just have to summon my inner Pollyanna to get me through!

I too am apple-shaped and have the same problem. I have yet to find something that works.

Definitely have some sort of snack before and after your workout. Make sure you're drinking planty of water too.

Thank you all! I ate almost all of my calories yesterday and stayed under my sodium intake. I woke up this morning and weighed .4 pounds less! I also measured myself and I've lost almost two inches from my back, an inch from my waist and a 1/2 inch from my hips! I'll take those results! Now to fill up my day with healthy…

I agree some cereal for breakfast, maybe with fruit and salad with lean protein for lunch. You may want to have another salad or some veggies right before you go out so that your not starving when you get to the restaurant. AND don't forget to drink lots and lots of water.

Can I be in? I don't know that I've ever been WOWWY, but I'm totally ready for it. I'm a mother to three, ages 5,3, and 4 months. I also work full-time. I guess my biggest challenge is finding time to work out.

I LOVE allrecipes.com! Also one thing that I have found that saves tons of time is to do a tiny bit of prep work the night before. Brown your hamburger, cut your veggies, get any meat you need out of the freezer and what not. Sometimes I'll throw together a casserole the night before and just pop it in the oven when I get…

Calories are calories. So whether you get them from salad or fried chicken, it shouldn't matter. However, if you consistently it "bad foods" you may find that you don't have the energy for your workouts. Moderation may be the key. I don't think eating "bad foods" every few days is really that big of a deal.

Unless you're working out right before bed and it's affecting your sleep, then I would say working out in the evening is fine. If you can just make yourself go to the gym for a little while, it will become habit. Maybe start with small goals, like I'm going to work out for twenty minutes. Then if you feel like it or have…

Dim the lights, snuggle up and watch a movie.

He didn't really stretch me at all. I did warm up on the elliptical for 10 minutes before my session, but that's it. I'll be sure to stretch well this next time.

Pickle juice? Really? I think I'll try some low fat chocolate milk next time! I have another session next Tuesday.

Greek yogurt mixed with dry ranch seasoning.

How about a dip made with greek yogurt as the base? It rich, creamy and fat free! I would use it in place of sour cream.

I'm here in MO. It's 9:30 am and we have 5 inches already. The worst of it is supposed to come after noon. I stayed home today and if it gets as bad as they say, I will probably stay home tomorrow. I'm a state worker and they implemented the Hazardous Weather Policy which means we can stay home but have to either make up…

I've always heard that you lose fat from your "problem" areas last. Or at least it seems that way because those areas have more fat to lose than others:tongue: For instance, I have the opposite problem you do, I lose fat very quickly from my legs, arms, chest and it seems as if it takes forever to see a noticeable…

I just joined on Monday, but you can sure look at mine!

So how do I add that stuff to my diary?
