Most definitely the eggplant parm!!!! I order it with whole wheat pasta tossed with garlic instead of the regular pasta it comes with. You can also ask them to go light on the cheese as well. Another thing I do, is ask for a to-go-box when the meal is delivered. I then cut everything in half and take one half home. That…

Thank you everyone for all the tips! I've been thumbing through magazines for new recipes. I've also taken my current recipes and added a healthy twist to each of them so that way I can still enjoy them. I think the one thing that I've been wanting to try and haven't been able to find is Almond Butter. I will also be…

I take celexa it actually has caused me to lose weight. I think it depends on the person. I'm an emotional eater and starver. When I'm happy, I eat. When I'm upset, I can't eat. Celexa has given me a balance that I didn't have before.

I'm 30 and still pretty young! I'm a soccer momma and have about 100 lbs to lose to get to my ultimate goal. I will be happy with 70 though.

For some people it will actually never go away. It all depends on how long their skin has been stretch and how far it's been stretched. As much as you tone the muscles, you can't do anything about the elasticity in the skin. Some of it will tighten up but not all of it and again, it just depends on how much the skin has…

For some people, it will never go away. There is a procedure that is similar to have a tummy tuck that removes it and most insurance companies cover it. It's called a Panniculectomy. It removes the excess fat and skin that hangs down whereas an Adominoplasty (tummy tuck) removes excess skin and fat while tightening the…

OMG, I couldn't agree more! I had a friend whom I had been friends with since 2nd grade, bash me (and supposedly others) openly on FB because we would post our accomplishments for the day. He then proceeded to make fun of me because I go to a gym to do most of my running. Why? Simply because running on concrete is hard on…

I couldn't agree more. Although there are some diets that I don't agree with, it's not my decision and I always wish anyone the best on whatever path they choose to reach their goals. Unless I want someone judging me, I won't judge other people. If someone wants to have their thought (as we all do) that's fine, just…

You're absolutely right. It's really no different than being anorexic to be honest. Coming from someone who has battled with both anorexia and bulemia. It's really no different.

Basically, the only reason why the HGC Diet works is simply because you're only eating 500 calories a day. It's a very unhealthy way to lose weight. I had contemplated it until I researched it, saw a documentary on it, talked to my doctor, and then talked to my trainer. It's more likely that most, if not all of the weight…

A good system shock works well for me. I change up my workout completely.

I think you forgot a few.... margaritas, chipotle, mexican in general.... Love me some Mexican! Cinco De Mayo is just around the corner!

I love PF Chang's lettuce wraps... delish! I usually get that and shrimp with plain lo mein... actually not too bad on calories for eating out.
-
give yourself a good variety. plums, peaches, canteloupe, bananas, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries.... you name it, try it! Plums, canteloupe, bananas, and strawberries are my faves though.

The weekends are not usually my friend because my husband and I bowl on a mixed league so there's usually beer. Other than that, macaroni and cheese is my weekness. Not sure why, but I love it.

Do you have a trainer or one that can talk to? If so, ask for them to lay out a shock system for you. Whenever I've begun to slow down on what I lose, my trainer has completely turned my routine upside down. If you're interested, I can tell you what my favorite shock treatment is.. Message me if you're interested.

You're probably right. I do have more to lose so I can afford to not eat my exercise calories back. It'll change. I think that's where a lot of people run into trouble. They start out doing things a certain way (eating right and exercise) and then hit a roadblock where they can't seem to lose anymore. That's where a…

Another thing you might try is shocking your system. Your body gets used to your exercise routine. Try switching up your exercise routine with something new and hardcore.

So far I'm averaging a loss of about 2.5 lbs per week.

I've asked my trainer who is familiar with the website and actually recommends it, and she said that I don't need to. I know some people say that you're supposed to but knowing that the human body doesn't work like "clock work" is a good indicator that you should do what works best for you. Someone previously recommended…

I eat a serving size of most things, but I am very picky about what I eat. For breakfast my favorite is an egg white omlette with shredded mozzarella. 3-4 egg whites with 1/4 cup FF Shredded Mozz. Snacks I vary between raw almonds, special k crackers, fruit, veggies, peanut butter toast, yogurt, etc. I think if you're…

That's a great idea! Way to think outside the box. I love the Laughing Cow wedge, so I will have to try that some time.

I think I've got the "large" part covered. ;-)

lol. Thank you!

Yeah, it's definitely not because I'm starving myself because I'm eating on average every 1.5-2 hours during the day. I'm just really selective with what I eat. I eat a lot of egg whites, lean meats (chicken mostly), tuna, skim milk.... I don't just look at the calories but everything as a whole. Then with my workouts....…

Bite me! lol. You're such a brat!

I don't body build per se, but I strength train and do cardio almost everyday with 1-2 days off a week from strength training where I just do some sort of cardio. Does that still mean I'm getting too much?

What type of running shoes do you have? My first pair of running shoes were "good" but I got shin splints, knee problems, and stress fractures in my feet. I use the Mizuno Wave Creation series. They're fabulous! As far as you knee, you might try running with a cho pat strap around your knee. It helps with runner's and…

Thanks! I will give it a try. Apparently it's not true what they say about Boston fans. lol. jk. Btw - my husband cheers for you guys. He's not a Boston fan per se, but he absolutely with every inch of his being, hates my Yankees. It's certainly a good thing I didn't know that when we started dating. lol.
