Ninja all the way! I absolutely LOVE my Ninja! I have the Auto-IQ. Bed Bath & Beyond with a 20% coupon! Unlike a lot of blenders where the blades are at the bottom, the Ninjas have 6 blades that go about half-way up the glass container so as to ensure that everything gets chopped/mixed.

It's actually pretty easy to hit if you specifically look for foods that are high in protein. One, your breakfast isn't nearly what it should be. You should add some egg white to that 35 calorie yogurt. Or, switch to a higher protein yogurt such as Oikos Triple Zero.

Absolutely! When I'm overweight, you can't really tell that I have a sense of style like you can when I'm skinny. When I'm skinny, I'm very into fashion! I love everything from boho, girly trends, country rugged, etc. When I'm overweight, it's pretty much whatever I find at Lane Bryant that I think is cute.

It's funny that you say that I'm the "healthiest fat girl I know" because I OFTEN say that myself. However, I do know plenty of fat girls that don't have any comorbidities just like me. Again though, I don't base ALL obese people are these factors because I know that everyone is different. You're also probably right in…

Higher quality food costs more. Everyone knows that. I see it in my own grocery bill when I buy BETTER QUALITY food and stay away from processed food.

That's YOU. Not everyone. I am obese and I'm the healthiest fat girl I know. I come from a family of heart issues, diabetes, hypertension, etc. My numbers are never anywhere close to be a concern for my doctor. My issue is that I have arthritis - 2 kinds. I was actually doing great losing weight (even with PsA) until I…

LMAO. Yes, it is actually VERY DIFFERENT. One is 100% a CHOICE. The other is not necessarily.
-
Your logic is faulty. People CHOOSE to smoke. There are people who are obese that did not CHOOSE to be that way and battle every day to not be. Take your blinders off and stop assuming that all obese people are that way because of choice.

I wouldn't waste your time trying to see if anyone had a similar experience. I would just go to the doctor. I'm actually surprised that wasn't your mom's first piece of advice.

Vodka or gin - makes for a delightful martini!

If you've had WLS, then yes, 40lbs in a month is perfectly normal. If not, then it's not only not normal, but not healthy, especially considering that you only weigh 146 lbs.

Find healthy snacks to curb those cravings. Exercise when you're cranky and take a diuretic to combat the bloating so that you don't have to avoid the scale. Even if you do bloat, why avoid the scale. You know why there might be a gain, so what's the point in avoiding it. It's not something you did, it's that b!tch Aunt…

I'm on a biologic as well, however having had surgery in March, I've been off for about 3 months now. I do agree that if there were something that definitely worked other than my biologic, my Rheumy would've said something by now. However, I also wonder if they get kick backs for prescribing certain things. I will try it,…

I've read from several people that it actually does help with inflammation/arthritis. I've also read the studies that say that it does have benefits that help with inflammation/arthritis. Are you speaking from personal experience? I'm curious because like I said before, having two types of arthritis, I will try anything…

You're supposed to mix it with juices and water I guess. I'm looking into drinking it not for any supposed weight-loss benefits, but it's supposed to be great for arthritis. I have osteoarthritis and psoriatic so I'm all for trying natural remedies when I can.

I understand what you're saying and am aware that MFP has there own private rules. I still don't see where it violate the terms though after reading through them again. All I'm saying is that while I don't think any one of us would agree with what he said, I don't believe it warrants flagging his comment. That's all. The…
-
I agree with you 100%. Still doesn't make it a flaggable comment. It makes it an absolutely ridiculous comment, but still not flaggable (IMO).
-
It also falls within the range of Free Speech. Do I think his comment was ridiculous? Absolutely. However, it's not flaggable just because it's ridiculous and over the top. Besides, I'm guessing that the comment wasn't made with 100% seriousness.

Freyas, bottom line, he'll learn his lesson. I got kicked off the bus my first day of kindergarten for beating up a 6th grade boy who was picking on my big sister who was in 2nd grade. I pinched him and punched him until he cried and apologized to my sister for making her cry. I learned my lesson though, as did the other…

Why did you flag him? He didn't say anything inappropriate. So because he has a different opinion than you, you felt the need to flag him? Do I think the situation calls for a spanking? No. But I'm mature enough to not flag someone for thinking differently.

Keep in mind that if it's medically necessary, like there's skin sagging causing rashes and dermatitis, it can be covered by your insurance, it simply depends on the insurance. However, when it's medically necessary it's called panniculectomy. One of my best friends had abdominoplasty probably about 10 years ago and she…

How do you run out of time for the issue that you went to the doctor for? Or is that answering all those questions in length gets you sidetracked? I'm trying to understand.

I lucked out and saved all of my staple pieces (dress pants, jeans, etc) of all of my smaller sizes. So I have bins in my garage separated by size (4-16) that I dig into first before I buy anything. Once I get 1 more size smaller, I will be taking my work clothes to be altered. However, I will not be holding onto any of my…

I think if it's a public spot, that would be fine. It could be he's simply seeing if you have common interests. I wish I would've asked my husband to go running at some point before marriage. LOL. Who am I kidding, running is probably the only thing we don't have in common. He will run for beer and coconut rum, that's…

My gym has TV's on all of their cardio equipment and then 2 large screen tv's for everyone else. Usually fixed on ESPN or something like that. CARDIO IS BORING unless you're watching tv or listening to music. I'm talking about cardio equipment cardio - not outdoor cardio or even a class (Zumba, P90X, etc.) And I like…

You should get yourself a pill sleeve so that you can separate them out every week. I have one that is a container and it has a sleeve for every day of the week, Morning, Noon, Evening and Bedtime. I refill on Sunday. That way you never have any confusion as to what you're taking and how many.

Fresh Wipes! It's like taking a shower just a helluva lot less time.

We have a workout room here in the office equipped with all the fixins, so I take total advantage of it as much as I can. I have short hair now, so I just leave my hair down and blow dry and re-straighten the underneath when I'm finished. I continue sweating for about an hour afterwards until my HR gets back to resting. I…
