Zucchini Quinoa Lasagna. Trust me, make this. My meat-loving husband actually requests this dish he loved it so much. He has NEVER done that with a vegetarian entree. Its amazing. http://peasandthankyou.com/recipage/?recipe_id=6000567

I get SO tired of reading about everyone who says you can't lose weight and still drink. MODERATION people, jeez. I am a complete beer freak. I am on a personal mission to visit all of the (over 100 breweries) in the state of Michigan. I don't drink crap domestic beers. I drink craft beers - IPAs, bourbon barrel aged and…

I'm somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9".... started on MFP in January of 2011. SW - 250 CW - 155 GW - 145-150 I'm working a LOT on building lean muscle. I'd say I'm happy where I am, but I still have quite a bit of body fat, especially in my stomach and thighs. Some of that is just loose skin that I'm hoping will tighten up…

Last summer, I trained for a 1/2 marathon in October. I had just finished doing P90X and had started going on little (1-2) mile runs in the afternoon when I got home from work, and decided to kick it up. I alternated strength training and running days for the most part - lifted M/W/F, ran T/Th/Sa/Sun. I got to a point…

I agree, probably shin splints... common in new runners, especially if you do too much too fast - it takes your legs time to get used to the beating they take from the impact of running. Do you stretch? Do you have a foam roller? My foam roller has saved me from so many different injuries, I'm sure. Its like deep tissue…

I think I would literally KILL for your stomach. Seriously, you look amazing. Way to go! :drinker:

The reason I run is BECAUSE I hate it. Seriously. Its not really "fun." Its hard. No matter how much I do it, its still hard. I still have to fight with every fiber of my being to not just stop. And I have run a 1/2 marathon. But that's what makes it so worthwhile for me. I have to focus everything I have on doing it - no…

Amy, I hope tomorrow finds you in a better mood. I stopped by to tell you that I finally spent some time recipe-stalking on peasandthankyou, and OMG, I may become a vegan because with recipes like that, who needs beef? On Wedensday I fully intend to make the Italian Meatless Meatloaf Muffins because they look like little…

I'm totally going to have to make this a selfish-me post and then just get back on track of keeping up with the posts this week if I can. Between work being super super busy (which equals later, longer, crazier days) and also Chris and I doing 30 day shred together after work, all my bonus posting time has just kind of…

Just a quick pop in to weigh in... holding steady at 158.. and by that I mean I busted my bootie this week to get down from the chaos of last weekend. My week has been nuts, sorry I've been so absent. Love to all and will full on post soon hopefully. xoxo

Pam, I hope your day has improved since this morning. That sounds like the kind of start to a day where you are better off just getting back in bed! Amy, nice pics! You look smokin' hot in that dress, woman! On the dogs eating food topic, my best friend has a spaniel/greyhound/mutt that they got from the humane society…

Kristina, I'm at 158 I think. You can use that. Everyone else - hi, love and hugs to you, I am SWAMPED at work this morning so may not get a chance for a full post. My weekend was awesomely fun. I ate waaaaaaaaay too much food. I'm terrified to step on the scale again. Terrified. I also have woken up drenched in sweat now…

I totally forgot to weigh in! This week I'm at 187.5, which makes me super happy. I didn't get on the scale all week cuz I was sure I would be up from the madness that was last weekend. And there's this... ... ... I'm sure a lot of you have seen this, but I had not, and I think its the cutest.

Happy Friday ladies! I am SO excited for this weekend. I should be out of work by 3 at the absolute latest (woot!), and then I've gotta get home and prep the filling and the streusal topping for my caramel apple pecan pie. I made the crust last night. I'm going to take all of the fixins to my parents' house and bake it…

 :drinker:  CONGRATS NAVA!!!!! :drinker:  That is super duper exciting and I'm pumped for you! I hope the raise is enough to make it worth your while, and I KNOW that its going to be great and incredible and you are going to love it. Yay! Amy, I totally dig that you can speak Vietnamese and…

Bobbie, congrats on the NSV! Its SO FUN to find clothes from the back of you closet that you couldn't wear and have them fit perfectly! I love that feeling! I also really love that you have your goals on your desktop. I might steal that idea and put them on my home page on my cell phone. That's awesome for you that you are…

I totally love the name of the new thread. It cracks me up. Thanks again Nava! So apparently last challenge I didn't actually make any goals. Say wha?! Yeah I know. It was when work was so crazy busy and I didn't post for I think the first like 10 pages or something awful. So... we'll make some goals for this challenge.…

Jessi/Katheryne, OMG I LOVE WALKING DEAD! SO GOOD! It really is such a fun and fantastic show, and they haven't pulled any punches starting this season. Its awesome. Jessi, when watching a zombie movie, I tend to like fast zombies if I want to be scared. Because duuude, they're fast and eat you. Eek. Slow zombies are funny…

Happy Monday Everyone! I'm trying to not be in a blah mood, even though its Monday and its cold and rainy out in the world today, and I started TOM so I'm super crampy and my lower back is KILLING me. My weekend was rock-solid awesome. Friday night we hung out and home and played Gears of War online with some friends…

Before is December of 2010, probably around 240 pounds After is September of 2011, right around 165. Currently at 159 and trying for a goal of 145-150/toning, toning, toning. And I ran my first 1/2 Marathon last Saturday... 2 hrs and 18 minutes!

OOH peacoats! I also love them, and will be finding a new one sooner than later. I'm bummed b/c I have a really amazing trench style peacoat from Banana that is this fantastic camel color, and I look like a little kid playing dress up in my Mom's clothes when I put it on. Sad, but not really. I'm wondering about taking it…

Quick post to weigh in... 159.2. I'm hoping that from here on out I don't see 160s again. Then again, I am going to a beer festival tomorrow. So we'll see how that works out for me.

I am SO pumped that both my boss and my coworker aren't here today AND its been pretty slow, so I've had time to stalk this thread for the first time in ages! Yay for active posting! 3 times in one day, baby! Victoria, I am uber jealous that you are going to Alaska. Its on my bucket list of places to see before I die. But…

I also would like to know what people think about this. I usually take what my HRM says, and then subtract a calorie for every minute that I worked out. So if I burned 200 cals in 20 minutes, I subtract 20 and put 180 to MFP as my calorie burn. I don't know when or why I started doing this... just seemed like a good idea…

Kendal, heck yeah! You and Mr. Reunion can join the P90X/P90X2 Bandwagon that we will be rockin' starting in January. I'm pumped about this! I'm also SO excited to hear that you might be able to save your house. That would be amazeballs. Is your place big enough that you and Mr. Reunion and the girls could live there…

I am catching up with everyone like crazy in this post, so I apologize in advance for its length. Megan, congrats on the loss! You are getting SO CLOSE to ONEderland! And MMMMMMM funnel cake. So yummy. I'm proud of you for splitting it with people! Lacey, I heard that store about the guy in Ohio on the radio this morning.…

Lacey, I totally agree with you that it gets super challenging to keep up with all the newbies. I'm hesitant to say we should close the group, since we usually get a couple of really awesome people who stick with us at each challenge... ... ... but, for the sake of discussion, I'm throwing it out there. I love all you…

Jessi, just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you and Nerd and his Dad, hoping and praying for good news and a speedy/problem free recovery. That is such a stressful thing. Last winter my dad went through a couple week span where he had terrible migraines and his blood pressure would just drop out from under him, so he…

Kristina, put me down at 161. My scale is going bonkers... 162 on Friday, 159.9 on Saturday, 162.6 on Sunday. and 161.3 this morning. So we'll just take something in the middle. I'm guessing between running, TOM coming next week, plus beer/fried food goodness on Saturday, that's all causing me trouble. So we'll take 161…

13.1 MILES DONE!!!! It took me 2 hours and 18 minutes. I'm so freakin stoked right now!!! Hugs to all of you!
