i'm a "short" 5'5" and currently hover in the low 150s...haven't picked my ultimate goal weight yet but this is really making me think about it...think if i can get anywhere below 140 i'd be ecstatic but ultimately i'm thinking about 132-34??

i know what you mean about looking at old pics and remembering that you thought you looked fine...my brother in law showed me a few pics taken a couple of summers ago and i was in shock at how much heavier i looked (and of course was). at the time i thought that i was hiding my "extra lbs" fairly well but the camera don't…

love the happy ending to your story! there are lots of great guys out there...it's just that they get looked over to often due to the jerks who are out there and are making most of the noise! lol

loved reading your post and seeing everyone's comments with their own awesome tickers attached! this is why i stay on MFP even when i start "slacking" a little with the tracking of my food and exercise. the posts by other members are always so inspiring!!!!! they bring a smile to my face everytime (and even a tear on…

i lost over 25 lbs with WW about 4 yrs ago and then met my (now ex) boyfriend...started eating larger portions cause that's what he'd cook us for meals and promptly gained all of it back (+ a cpl extra lbs just for the heck of it). we broke up in nov '10 and i joined MFP two months later and have had great results through…

what great stories/pics from ALL of you!!! i am still working on my weight loss but so far i have done it like most people on MFP...holding myself accountable for what i eat and being more active! i have also dabbled with the 17 day diet over the past month or so but it kind of lost me/my interest at the start of cycle 3.…

congrats! you look FABULOUS!!! LOVE seeing these before/after pics! i really wish i had taken a good "before" pic (full body) but, unfortunately, i was so embarrassed of how i looked i didn't want any "evidence" of what i looked like at that time even for the sake of something like this :( sad i know...

don't feel "out of place" at all! this is EXACTLY the place that you should be right now (on mfp). we all have our different SWs but our goals are all the same...to lead a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoy our time with the ones that we love...which for most of us entails losing some of the "extra" LBs that we've…

if you're shopping for a HRM, amazon is a great place to go. they have such a wide selection with a wide range of pricing, almost all of which have user reviews which i personally find extremely helpful. i bought a timex HRM on there for under $50.
