I hope you do great! I went to meat only in May as part of an elimination diet for an autoimmune issue and for weight loss. Plan your meals just as you would any other time. I log my meals a day in advance and it really helps me stay on track. Cut up large pieces of meat into chunks and freeze in single portions to make…

all anyone can do is tell you what has worked for them and give you ideas to help. You need to have the motivation, if you don’t then it won’t happpen.

Mind if I join in? I’m 55, have 100+ lbs to lose. Started carnivore on 5/1 and lost a few lbs right away but nothing since. I have inflamed Achilles tendons but do get the dogs out for a walk daily. Have begun a home exercise routine including push ups and squats, starting at the gym next week for increased weight and more…

You may not be eating enough calories. Do you know what your basal metabolic rate is? You can calculate that free online. If it’s higher than 1500 calories then you’re starving yourself and your body won’t shed the extra pounds. You can also use a TDEE calculator to help you determine what your caloric intake take should…

Always on the phone. Doesn’t matter who; if we are supposed to be spending time together and you can’t put it down, I’m out.

I get my clothes out the night before; in the morning I get up the first time my alarm goes off, get dressed, have a very light snack and then exercise. If i had to go to the gym I just wouldn't do it. I do this six days a week. I don't give myself any time to think too much about it, but jump right in and get it over with…

I vary my music quite a bit, but I often listen to classical cardio, or rock; anything with a good beat that will keep my feet moving.

I like the Kind bars, but check the labels as some are better than others. Yesterday I had a packet of yellowfin tuna in olive oil as a snack, and the day before I had shrimp cocktail, both have good amounts of protein. Rockin Refuel is protein fortified chocolate milk, but I've added unflavored protein powder to my…

I feel your pain. If you're not allergic to shellfish, shrimp has a ton of protein with few calories/fat per 3 oz. I have yet to reach my protein goal.

My nutritionist and doc both told me not to count tea or coffee as water. Water is water. Coffee is a diuretic, well known fact. My experience has been that if I don't hydrate well, I feel like crap and am more prone to heat related issues. Same thing happens if I don't get enough sodium.

I'm also vegetarian, although I do eat fish, cheese and eggs and I drink milk. I recently added almond milk to my diet and it helps tremendously. Mix it 50/50 with an already prepared protein drink, add a little unflavored protein powder, I like Syntrax, a little fruit and some ice for an easy, quick breakfast. I also add…

I'm not strictly vegan, still eating eggs and cheese, drinking milk and eating fish.
