  • Dang! That's unreal!
  • I'd probably just go as natural as you can. It usually tastes better anyway.

  • I try to never set a deadline for an amount lost. Too much pressure and then if it doesn't happen I want to throw in the towel and dive into a box of krispy kremes. That's just me though :P
  • Good point. I'm guilty of egg smashing - on occasion - for sure!
  • LMFAO!!
  • I drink diet soda every day - and I've gone without it for weeks too - no change. It curbs my appetite and any sweet craving I may have. Bad for me and full of who knows what? - sure - but hindering weight loss? nope.
  • Consider me a goner!
  • I have a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literatures with a Concentration in French. I live in Mobile, AL - nobody speaks French here. So - I bet you can guess - I don't use it.
  • Peppers, Onions, Beets, Brussels Sprouts, Squash, Asparagus, Avacado, tofu- that's all I can think of at the moment. There are lots of bad foods I cant stand either. (thankfully)
  • Fantastic! Way to plan ahead and make a good choice. It can be so hard - I usually mess up when going out - so Kudos to you!!
  • I avoided the mere thought of amusement parks for a few years - and at 315 pounds went on a family vacation to Disney World. I actually did research beforehand to get an idea if I'd fit in the rides or not. Happy to say I fit in everything - they are very generous! But it was uncomfortable at times. And I can remember…
  • I very seldom want Mcdonalds - but if for some reason I do - I get a happy meal. I think you can do that under 600 cals if you get a diet beverage. And I personally think it's ok to have small indulgences every now and then - because if you deny yourself something too much it could make you want it even more. I will say my…
  • Yep I do -and whenever I have an overdraft - I have to totally make a deposit to make up for it! LOL :)
  • Give the scale a big EFF you! Who cares what it says. 13.5 inches is AWESOME! Give yourself a pat on the back because you have rocked it - all that matters is your body - how it looks how it feels - not the number on the stupid - yes I said stupid scale. It is stupid b/c it doesn't know if what it is weighing is muscle,…
  • Waste of money - I took them when I was in my early 20s. They kinda helped me lose some - but whatever I lost I gained back and tons more! Waste! By the way it was Metabolife before ephedra was banned that I took.

  • After you've lost a lot - hooray for one thing - and yeah you get less calories but you need less. Another thing as someone else said - once you get to goal weight you go into maintenance mode - and in maintenance you get more calories. The most important thing - be careful not to dip too low now -you should be able to…

  • That doesn't sound normal at all - I agree with everyone else - you need to see a doctor.
  • My boo is a sweetheart. He cherishes me and tells me I'm beautiful. He makes me laugh, smile, and he makes me feel safe and comforts me when I'm in need. He is my best friend. We met almost 9 years ago - have been married almost 5 years - and that is just the beginning :)
  • mental/emotional trainwreck! Thank God I didn't marry him!!
  • That is fantastic - if I can ever get my husband on here - I would want him to be your friend b/c he has similar stats and I know you would be awesome motivation to him. I know you are so proud of what you accomplished and you should be!! Way to go!
  • For me - I am usually hungrier when I exercise, so I eat some of mine back but I dont always eat all of them. It is generally advisable to net 1200 calories a day in order to give your body the basic nutrition it needs to survive. If you regularly net below that you can trigger starvation mode. But one day here or there…

  • Sad to say I average about 24 oz a day -I'm doing good if I manage to drink 32oz a day. It is advisable to drink more - but I don't. When I do drink water it's plain - with ice.
  • It took me about a year and a half to get off 80 pounds. I reached my highest weight (327) in June of 2008. I reached the 240s somewhere around October 2009. Didnt lose that weight on MFP but was basically doing the same thing MFP has you do.
