I have PCOS too and a low glycemic diet really helped me lose what I've lost. It wasn't overnight and it's no miracle diet but it's highly recommended for PCOSers and it works well if you stick to it.

My nearest goal is under 200. I havent been under 200 since i was 19 - that was 10 years ago. My ultimate goal is 160. I havent been 160 since I was 16 - which was 13 years ago.

It never hindered my weight loss. Sometimes I'd be a little hungrier before my period while on the pill.. but that can happen to any woman on the pill or not.

Mine have always been irregular due to PCOS - but at my worst I went 2 years w/o one. Now (since losing a ton of weight) they are better but still not perfect. I skip here and there. My advice -See a doc.

I dont log coffee - I log the creamer b/c that's where the calories are. I don't log diet soda (I don't see the point). I don't log water (again - not seeing the point). I don't always log sugar free gum if I only have a piece or two. If I have several pieces I log it b/c it adds up. Pretty much everything else - I log.

My sis bought me a starter kit and I love it. If you are looking at cost - you could totally get away with just getting a starter kit and using cheaper brands for eyemakeup or blush. However - they do have some awesome eye and/or lip kits from time to time. The kits get you the biggest bang for your buck.

My ultimate goal is size 10/12. I think I looked good at that size. No desire whatsoever to be rail thin. I'm a tad over 5ft 7 in. So to get to that size I'd need to weigh 165 ish. (jbasing that on how much I weighed the last time I wore that size a bazillion years ago lol)
