Well my BMR is 1372, sounds more manageable. I used to do a lot of Atkins, me and carbs don't really get on so it suited me. Right so if my daily calorie limit is 1200, and I exercise to burn 300, I must eat 1500? If I eat 1500 I'll lose more than if I stick to 1200? My logical mind can't work that out!!

See this "eating back your calories" thing doesn't make sense to me. I've read a thread on here Explaining why but I still don't get it. Surely it's the calorie count AND exercise that will help you lose weight faster and better. If I ea whatever I burn then it's pointless surely!?

Thanks guys! I don't mind it taking time to come off - I feel it will be more likely to stay off! I'll up my fluids and hopefully that will help. Must admit I've never done calorie counting properly before (former Atkins devotee) so it came as somewhat of a shock to see such a gain.!

But my scale said 147lbs on thursday and now they say 150 :-( I've definitely eaten more Than normal but only about 500 Cals more. I just don't get it :-(
