Like I said in my last post is it will mentally make myself feel btter because alot of this workout/eat right/ loose weight/confidence thing is mental anyway. Might as well do something for myself (that will not harm me because I WILL…

I am not really worried about the number on the scale as to what I see in the mirror. My 'personal goal' is to be able to be look at…
  • Yes i totally get that. Its so hard. I really wish that I could win the lottery so I could live off that for a couple years and just finish school. If I could do that I would be done in two years. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Support is always awesome.

  • I do kickboxing and running as well and I got the Nike lunar glides. They are super light and great for balance, running, kickboxing, and they are really comfortable. I got them online but you can get them at any shoe store really (foot locker, lady foot locker, foot action, etc.) hope that helps a little
  • Calories •Zumba workouts can vary in intensity, and calorie burn depends on an individual's weight, fitness level and muscle composition. During an hour long session you can burn anywhere from 500 to 800 calories. On average, a 150-lb. person can expect to burn 536 calories during an hour of Zumba. By comparison, the same…
  • Okay So I am curious. Its 10 cal per pound? Well, I weigh 113 so are you saying that to maintain my weight I have to eat 1130 calories? That is way low and dont want to go into starvation mode of course. Just a little confused on this thats all.
  • This girl put this web site up on MFP and I copied it...Try this this might help you...Can be a little confusing to follow but try it i think it will work. I am going to... good luck:smile: http://www.active.com/fitness/Articles/How-to-Calculate-a-Calorie-Deficit.htm?cmp=291&memberid=63412176&lyrisid=21495777&page=2
  • Well, make sure you are eating a snack at least like an hour or so before you are supposed to go to the gym. That will help with not being SO hungry while working out. And think about your goals. What do you REALLY want out of all of this...The only way you are going to get there is to eat right and go to the gym. It is a…
  • I really like this post! thank you!
  • You can find it on youtube or somewhere else just google it. I HIGHLY recommend the P90X Ab ripper. It works but its hard as hell at the beginning.
  • I am so in. I will post my measurements as soon as I get home.
  • I was at 120 and am now at 113 and would love love love to be 110. haha but man these last three pounds are STUUUUUBORN! Sometimes you should stop worrying about the last two pounds and just work out and look great. Its not always all about size it is about how you see yourself in the mirror. Before I had surgery on my…
  • I totally agree with doing some weight training. You are losing the weight but you are not toning what is there after its lost (if that makes sense) you really need to try and do strength training 3-4 times a week. nothing major just enough to get your muscles started
  • The hardest part (for me) was figuring out my breathing. Once you figure that out. Youre set. Also figure out what speed and rythm that is comfortable for you. It just takes time to get used to it. Your lungs are not used to that kind of excercise so just stick with it and you will get it :o)
  • You need to allow your body one cheat meal at least once a week. The reason this is is because it keeps your motabolism guessing. If you are dieting and dieting and dieting and your never putting anything else in your body then your motabolism kind of pleateus out. 1 cheat meal is def okay. all of you hard work is most DEF…
  • I have heard that diet drinks are just as bad for you as regular sodas. your body doesnt know the difference between sugar and artificial sweetner. So your body is still processing those drinks as regular sodas. Like your pancreas. It just thinks its sugar....just what I've heard. but yes diet Mt dew is so good haha
  • Maybe (if you still have the reciept) you can get a scale that shows you weigh the same as your previous scale. But if you didnt then just take it for what its worth and just use that to make yourself work harder. :o)
