Banana, they tend to keep you full longer. I eat several a day and usually one in the evening. I agree with thosealready posted that eating smaller frequent meals or snacks all day long will result in you feeling full and satisfied thoughout the day and night.

Greek yogurt has no fat and alot more protein. It is thick and not as liquid as regular yogurt. I just recently started trying it and really like it. However it can be an acquired taste you will want to add something to it.

I don't know about drinking to much water being a bad thing, but I have heard of people dying from drinking too much water. In that instance they drank non-stop in a contest which most people would not normally do.

Everyone is different but it also depends on what you are eating to get to your calorie goals. Try more fruits and veggies. They fill you up more but with far less calories. I have a similar situation and I say invite him to go exercise with you like jogging and if he doesn't want to come then go without him. I do 33 minutes a day with a variation in incline. It is 4 minutes at a low incline then 4 mintues at a much higher incline and then back and fourth. You might try going my body measurements than by weight. Depending on your height and amount of muscle you are building it might be a better measurement of your success then weight.
