I walk about 5 miles 5 days a week, I walk to work and back, my job also involves a lot of walking, i'll wear a step moniter tomorrow and figure out how many steps I do.

I walk 3-5 miles a day walking to work and back(5 days a week). I was getting a lift and put on weight, then when I started walking all the way in(including up a steep and long hill) I lost about 10 -16lbs(over 6 months). It's always worked a treat for me as long as you do it consistantly and break into a sweat.

I'm a binge eater and you have my sympathy, MFP will help as it will make you more aware of what is in your food. You'll have your bad days, i do(had one yesterday) but dont't let these get you down, i find i have days when i don't use all my calories so can balance it out during the week. I'm 5'9" and looking to get down to at least 140, i have been that weight before and felt great. At the moment i'm 154.4, i was 168 before xmas and going up which is what inspired me to change, love MFP :happy:

Congrats on the weight loss so far, i'm glad you got better treatment in your secoond store, there is no excuse for any shop assistant let alone manager to treat a customer that way, tired, hungry or stressed you put it to one side and slap a smile on. :bigsmile:
