Typically the box will show both "mix" and "prepared as directed". If you don't see if on the box, I'd try looking online for that data. Never had this problem with muffin or cake mixes. Sorry not more help.

I really doubt he has that high of a deficit, honestly. It's super hard to accurately track the effect of activity (I find that MFP calculators grossly over-estimate the caloric burn of activities). That being said - the easiest way to tell if you're in the ball park or not is to evaluate your weight loss. Has it…

For me, I plan a week at a time - right before I grocery shop. Helps me have leftovers for lunch at work, and easy to make a good choice (i.e. not call and order pizza) if you have all the ingredients you need for your meal.

^^ In agreement with this. Drastically increasing your intake would be, IMO, a big step backwards. Enjoy the extra lift you're getting from that activity.

Yaaaay Sara!! Can't wait to hear the bad *kitten* weights you manage!

Your back shouldn't be sore after deads.. I would ask a trainer to check your form, this is a lift where you can really easily hurt yourself if your form is not good. You can also tape yourself and post to the eat, train, progress group here on MFP for form critique. Couple videos to suggest:…

Nice work Pat, you look great. Also have to state my mad jealousy at your ability to drop 8 lbs in 4 weeks. Nice!!

I eat a fair amount of fat as well.. I go for 85% ground beef.. Bacon .. Steak. I cook my veggies in coconut oil. I eat full fat dairy. Sunflower butter is pretty delicious :) really a small amount of nuts will get you there. You'll love full fat dairy.. Tastes SO much better, and keeps you full way longer.

Hahah! Love this. But can you imagine the tummy ache? Lol

Nice! Tagging. This "close be not exact" was making my inner accountant scream. :)

I've struggled with this, too. I am the same height as you (5'3") and for a long time my goal was 150 (started at 210). I hit that goal, pretty much parked there for 6 months or so, and re-assessed what my goals were. Am I happy with how I look? Do I want to make further changes? What will it take (what will I have to add…

I'm not a shakeology user, but I can tell you with regular protein powders I have yet to find a vanilla I really like. Have you thought about mixing it with some chocolate shakeology? Or another flavor? I love mixing my powders, came up with a delicious chocolate berry. Just a thought, good luck!

I very, very loosely follow paleo.. so really, I limit my processed carbs (goal of 100g/day) and eat a ton of protein. For me, that means I eat a lot of red meat. bacon, and veggies. Yum! I do notice that when I do eat a fair amount of carbs, I *really* retain water - makes my hands hurt, oddly. Honestly, my food choices…

Ok, I made these this morning.. they are SOOOO good! Highly recommend.
