Try E-Meals! It is a recipe service where they send you the recipes for the week based on which grocery store you use. So, you won't buy a whole bunch of parsley for 2T, lol. I hate wasting food! You can also choose between different meal plans - low cal, low carb, keto, paleo, classics (think: meat and potatoes). I have…

Try doing sheet pan recipes...take a cookie sheet, season 4 pieces of meat (can season them all differently) then cut up several different veggies and throw it in the oven. That way it isn't so repetitive and you're done for the week at one time! Veggies on one sheet and meat on the other. You can add rice/quinoa the day…

I struggled with anxiety as well (socially). This may sound a bit weird but I actually got a lot of relief from volunteering at an animal shelter to help play and walk the dogs. I got a little exercise and felt that no one judged me since I was there to help them! In the end I have now rescued 2 dogs and they have to be…

OMG, you are about my same stats! I love seeing this, I do great for a few weeks and then fall off for a few weeks, then do great...and it keeps going. Love seeing this difference and to know it is only 3 months! GREAT JOB!!

OMG, I am in the exact same situation. I've lost about 12 lbs in the past 2 months and have been working my butt off and when I see someone that I may not see regularly, they don't seem to notice. Totally discouraging, right?! I am focusing (most days) on how much better I feel, and how accomplished I feel by maintaining a…

Yes, I got super confused in the beginning too. I have about 70# to lose and thought that the 1200 was way to low too, but as has been said the 1200 should be after all food & exercise has been logged for the day. Feel free to add me as a "pal" ...Starting over...again...and for the last time!

I find that if I eat a carb WITH a protein (especially for snacks) it keeps the hunger down. So I will eat fruit with yogurt, or a granola bar and a cheese stick. Supposedly (a trainer told me this) the combo effect makes your snacks last longer. Hope that helps!

Hi! I am also on a 1200 cal diet, and I can tell you that it is nearly impossible for me UNLESS i do excercise! Strength training is good, but maybe in between reps do some sort of cardio to get the heart rate up...If you can't "jump around" (I struggle with that too!), try setting into a light squat position (not really…

Thanks so much everyone! I know 1200 is low (I thought so too!), so it is nice to know that I will earn those back by exercising! I really appreciate the feedback. ~KD
