Hi! Baby #5 for us, due March 8th but being induced at 39 weeks due to being on blood thinners. We are having our 3rd GIRL! I'm back to using MFP because I've gained 3lbs in a week after getting my appetite back finally and I'm already pretty heavy and have been warned about my gain, so I've changed my cal goal to…

Im currently doing low carb/high fat and watching my calorie intake as well, I know that it;s calories in vs calories out to lose but I just found out last week I'm insulin resistant so I really need to watch my carbs, I AM getting a tiny bit of healthy carbs in during my day, not cutting them completely, But compared to…

Thanks that's pretty much what my uncle who lifts told me just wanted to make sure lol. So in the end the deficit will help get rid of the fat but by lifting I'll have pretty muscles under it :)

This happens to me during ovulation. It's frustrating but stop weighing every day. It's hard I know but weight does fluctuate for the tiniest things

Thanks what forum should I start it on

OK I loveeeee this thread. My ob\gyn actually told me to start lifting. I have a loooot of weight to lose and she said it would come off faster with lifting. My ? Is is how much of a deficit should I be eating I mean it has me set to 1800 cals a day is that OK? Too much or too little?

Awesome job and you look awesome!! You're right, it's not easy, but if we find it in ourselves to stick with it, we can accomplish what you have!

Great job everyone! Someday I will post mine here, when I get there though!!

I'm getting "wow you look great" (you know, as opposed to looking like what before? nasty? ) and i havent even lost a pound yet!!!!! I do think everyone gets the insults that are supposed to be "compliments" I guess it's something we need to deal with as they come in our own ways though.

Im just glad to be back on track!! I know last saturday was my worst day with my daughters 10th bday party and way too many temptations and i knew i should have prepared myself for it instead of letting go and eating what i wanted, dont think that will be happening again anytime soon!!

After reading this tip a few times on here I'm definitely getting a food scale tomorrow!!

I've logged on for 30 days straight today and I can't stress this enough!! I log everything now as soon as I eat it so I know exactly where I am. Also I wear heart rate monitor that tells me exactly how many cals I burn during my workouts and let me tell you it can be a huge difference from what mfp tells you you burned
-
Praise our gracious father, it is amazing what He and MFP can do for you!! congrats!

I like how you say you only do what you enjoy because so do I and it makes it much easier to stick to this by doing things I like. I hate cardio but I enjoy walking, so i walk. I love strength training so i do that as well, i eat what i want but i am being good about not overdoing it and putting my nutrition first

This is so inspirational! awesome ....congrats!

Lots of things, but, my husband and I are planning a Disney World trip for the first time for all 5 of us and I will NOT be the morbidly obese mom sitting on the sidelines watching her kids have fun while I eat my emotions in Dole Whip (which i hear is reaally good) I do NOT want a seatbelt extender on the plane (i've…
