Has anyone heard the theory the 2km eggs are more important for the rarer Pokemon? You get lots of Ratata's and Pidgeys etc but you will find so few squirtles and pikachu's in the wild that you need to grind out the 2km eggs to get enough of them to evolve them. Also worth noting once you get 5 or 6 Pokemon up in the 600+…

92kg. Make it a nice round 50kg loss from SW to GW. Once I get there I will reassess and see where I'm at. I've got athletic goals too which may mean dropping a few more kg's after that.

Love them. Got a 60/60 pair for that bike and an additional 90 rear for th TT bike. I'm pretty heavy still and they are not too flexy although both my rears are Clydesdale build for 28 spokes instead of 24

I knew it was working when I found slim fit shirts fit better than normal ones.

Spent a week in Spain soaking up some winter sun and found a small rather steep hill at the top of a climb! I didn't make it up!! Lol

Another x-lab torpedo user here. For 70.3 and 140.6 I would use a single down tube bottle cage and a Single rear mounted bottle. I found though with the linger races the bottle hand ups were at about the hour mark so I'd end up just skipping the first to drink everything I was carrying and then pick up one at a time with…

God no. 15 min warm up has me pretty much sweating and hot then I'm dining out a t shirt by the time I'm done.

Tescos stock a lactose free mature cheddar(red packet). Plus some of them do a vegan sliced cheese that's pretty good. On top of that Philadelphia do a lactose free cream cheese. My GF is gluten and lactose intolerant so I feel for you all having to work out what you can and can't eat.

I use a FR620 for my running and a Edge 500 for the bike. dont really fancy having a multisport watch tbh although the Fenix looks lovely and i'm sorely tempted. The issue with the sidtance thing is probably to do with it being set up wrong as it is designed as an ultra/hiking watch primarily so the GPS is normally set to…

I work out 7 days a week and my 'rest day' I swim. as hamlet says listen to what your body needs however a feeling of 'I cant be bothered' does not count as your body saying it needs a rest day!! lol

Does Red Bull, Monster, Relentless etc count as sports drinks? If so nothing has really changed and tbh i'd say it's got worse. Before it was just sugar you had drunk in excess and now its caffiene also

The smoothie I made for my morning snack. Made it last night as this week is a reboot for me to make another push to my goal but aparently banana doesnt keep so well and made my lovely sweet smelling pink drink basically brown and very bland. Decided I can do without

personally I have a winter road bike that has full mudguards and slightly fatter normal road tyres on it and then I just stick to the main roads where the gritters have been and it's never been an issue yet. As long as you have decent winter clothing you'll be fine although I have had to stop in a shop before now to empty…

My motivation comes from having multiple goals that are a mix of simple to achieve through to ones which take alot of work. The only thing worth reading is the instruction manual on the food scales you buy!

I'm a very private person and tend to keep everything locked up in my head in real life. Behind a keyboard though I tend to be fairly open and honest. Last night however I was able to take a step into the uncomfortable and talk to my girlfriend about how things are going with my weight loss. She has been a massive…

congrats. nice feeling isnt it

exercise for me is used as a tool to not only get fitter but to allow me to eat the things convention says are bad for me. 1 hours run means icecream!!! long cycle means pizza etc etc

Walking is 1 foot on the floor at all times and running is a period of being airborne between steps. As long as that happens you are running. Pace is irrelavent! Awesome job on the 2 HM's and good luck on the Full. You'll be great just keep moving forward and give yourself the opertunity to prove them wrong!

Doing a period of run specific training at the moment so not much cycling getting done currently and i'm done with all my Tri's for the year so i've retired my wetsuit and i'm back squad swimming to try and get faster for next year. Everything below is pretty flexible depending on my shifts at work and when the girlfriend…

Today I feel like a kid at Christmas as I cracked 100kg for the first time ever however that's not exactly an NSV is it!! Lol I am however sat here typing this on the train wearing a pair of 34" jeans down from the 38's I was wearing 5 weeks ago. I foolishly bought 4 pairs of 36's thinking id be in them a while. 3 weeks…

Firstly the pain could be PF as suggested but best to get it checked out first. Dont bother with seeing a doctor as they will probably just tell you to rest it, stay off the running and come back in a month if it doesnt get better. Youre far better off going to see a physiotherapist especially if you can find one who…

Thanks. totally different inside also. I have a level of confidence I never thought for one minute I could have. I walk down the street looking forward and not at the pavement right infant of me!
-
Thanks. Feel like one! As well as my weight change just about everything bar my job has changed since then!

Thats 108kg Vs 152kg. Taken about 4-5 years all in including a couple of 'bumps' in the road.

Firstly congrats on the Running so far. Secondly your Cousin is right! At some point you will have to run them so just go for it one run at a time. Your plan wont have you jumping straight up to 20 mile runs so each run is only a little bit further each time. Also trust the pace guides within the plan. The long runs should…

Haha no it doesn't! a kilo of lean mass weighs the same as a kilo of fat! To the OP i'm pleased you've seen through the 'nutritionist's' BS and decided to go about it the correct way. I'm a firm believer in the theory that the MFP diet doesn't mean you need to only eat healthy. You will lose weight if your daily calorie…

Happy to Mentor 1 or 2 people assuming we have similar goals and expectations. Personally i'm much like most of the mentors on here. I started out at 152Kg(334b) and am now down to 101.9kg((224lb)as of 24/8/15) with around 5-10kg to go. I'm a 34yo Male living in london, UK. Even at my biggest I was still relatively active…

I use a trainer but not for getting fit or to help with wieght loss. I use him for his experience of running and he is a physio also so he helps keep me together injury wise and has improved my running no end. Compared to a normal trainer it's not cheap but very worth it to me
