I'm from arkansas and I don't think there is much of anything healthy here lol. Just try to stay away from anything fried. Go with bakes, grilled, boiled! Also I try to find something similar in the database when I eat at a mom and pop joint and the exact thing isn't in the MFP system!

I can't see your diary. Are you eating your exercise calories? Are you eating often enough? Drinking plenty of water?

Isn't the point to see how many calories you burn during the workout? So if you workout for 30 min, why would you let your hrm run for 45 min? Won't that give you a false reading if your hrm says 300 cal after 45 min but you only log 30 min in MFP? I hope that makes sense. I'm confused on why you would log more calories…

I would definitely get a HRM. But you should also be eating more. Not sure what you are eating or how often since I can't see your diary. But if I were you I would eat 5-6 times a day with your workout regimen. Also try varying your workouts. If you do the same things every single day your body will get used to it.

Usually on the weeks you don't lose anything the next week you will lose double! Hang in there.

If that is working for you and you are losing then I would stick with it. MFP will lower your calories as you lose. If you want to bump it up to 2 lbs a week then your calories will be lower!

I'm 5'7 1/2 too. I upped my calories yesterday from 1200 to 1620 I'm hoping that will be more manageable for me. 1200 calories I was hungry a lot. I think since you only haveva few more pounds to go you should start gradually upping your calories so your body can get used to eating more!

I'm addicted to what I call the green smoothie! It's a handful of baby spinach. About 5-6 frozen whole strawberries. 4 stevia packets. 1/2 cup frozen pineapple. 1 banana. Add some ice and water. Yum! About 185 calories per serving.

You're basically talking about zig zagging your calories. I've thought about trying that but haven't yet. I upped my calories today from 1200 to 1620. I just never felt full at 1200. I did day 3 of 30 DS today. I'm 5'7 and 181. The front of my thighs about died after the first workout. I used a bunch of muscle rub the second day and fought through the pain during the 28 min. It is a video by Jillian michaels. It is 3 different levels. It is circuit training...intense. You do each level for 10 days. It is 4 min warm up 20 min training and 4 min cool down. You can get it at wal mart for 10 bucks.
