  • I've always been told/instructed to eat at the calorie level for maintenance for the weight you are aiming for. For example, my goal is 130lbs, but I am 227 right now. Instead of eating what it tells me to for my current weight, I would eat at the allottment that I would at 130. You lose weight, because you are in a…
  • I'm in the same boat, although I tried cooking fish once and it turned out so mushy that I gagged when I tried it. I really want to cook GOOD fish lol. My hubby likes fish, but I fear I am going to make the same mistakes all the time. Anyone have a fool proof one?
  • I also have dyshidrodic eczema, and swimming is amazing for avoiding break outs. I have to swim anyway for other conditions, so it's a win win
  • I use EAS chocolate flavored 20g Protein. No matter which one you go with... don't listen to the label that says you should use water... ACK! Ice cold milk with all of them and they'll taste fairly decent. <3
  • It depends. It has almost no flavor, which is why it's great for a carb substitute like noodles, and can go with anything. You can also eat a TON of it with nearly no impact on your calories. My kids love it, but I don't make it all the time. You can also cook it to different tenderness preference. I prefer it a bit…
  • I loved the story, and the presentation of it... (I was really hoping to see some sort of real pic of the person, though, just for my knowledge bank. I like putting faces with stories.) <3
  • Hi! I'm Heather, 32, with 3 girls at home (7,8 and 10... soon to be 8,9 and 11 next month). Feel free to add me! I love new people <3
  • My favorite song for workouts is "Girl on Fire" ... just something about it that can make me go that last bit no matter how much it hurts!
  • Win! I hate the treadmill.... I swim and when I get the chance, I go for a bike ride. Running is not the best cardio for everyone, and if you dislike it, it's definitely not the best cardio for you <3
  • I have 2 ideas for you. First, if she recently had a child, it means she's only focused on the baby and not herself. Put together a gift basket with a focus on pampering mommy, like lotions, a nice smelling deodorant, shampoo, body wash, a poof sponge, some nail polish etc. and volunteer to give her some special time away…
  • I'm an odd one. I don't crave chocolate or anything in particular during my TOM. I do feel a lack of energy, but I made a change 2 months ago that has seemed to help dramatically. In general, I drink 2 protein shakes each day. One right in the morning and another around midway between supper and bed time. During my TOM, I…
  • New to the group and still in the beginning stages of my long road ahead with only 9 lbs lost so far ;) Am in rural Marshfield <3 anyone nearby, (or from anywhere for that matter) feel free to add me!
  • I am in Marshfield <3
  • This is exactly what I was going to say. She may also be afraid to believe that you are doing it without totally starving yourself. I was afraid for a long time that there was no hope for me short of surgery of some sort. I never believed that I could exercise longer than 5 minutes (it hurt), and I thought people would…
  • My goal outfit is anything not baggy that doesn't show back fat and rolls. That about sums it up <3
  • I have something like that for my own eyes (because I am obsessive with planning ahead). It helps to know an approximate time frame. It will most likely fluctuate and move in the end, but I am ok with that. ;)
  • 32 here (33 in a couple months), mother of 3, 5'1 and weighing 229 currently :( Feel free to add me!
  • Chocolate <3 I am a big believer that you can't tell yourself any foods are totally off limits or you'll be more prone to binge and you'll also be much more miserable. Just be sure to count it, and you'll be fine, no matter what type of chocolate you choose! (Well, in moderation lol)
  • I'm 229, with a goal of 140 (ish). Feel free to add me, the more friends the better!
  • Both? Even those doing it strictly for vanity reasons can't do so without it impacting their overall health, so no matter what answer you get... the other is also relevant.
  • That kitten would sleep literally anywhere in any position lol. I miss having kitties :(

  • Just went to look at these on Amazon and other places. Looks great. Seems any negative reviews from users was due to their own idiocy. They didn't wipe the sensor with water as it says in the manual when it started reading weird or stopped. I am going to buy one. Thanks ;)
  • I don't track it, but I prepare all my foods from scratch and know if it's going to be relatively high or not. I'm aware, but not concerned about sodium.
  • I didn't do it consciously. Honestly I was eating almost nothing for 2 years, and I was steadily gaining weight. I couldn't figure out why. Sure, I wasn't moving either, but I really couldn't figure it out. I would go all week barely eating anything, maybe a tuna sandwich or egg salad a couple days and then a few cookies…
  • My 10 year old daughter is skin and bones with a bit of muscle spread everywhere... basically very healthy and fit. She is in a women's size 2/3. She is currently 4'9. So... no. I don't see how a size 0 can be at all healthy. (Sorry... after reading some posts and going to look it up, I am wrong. My daughter wears a…
  • I never knew what a burpee was, although I had heard the name before. Just watched a video on youtube.... I couldn't even do one!
  • Any way the wind blows, doesn't really matter to meeeee...
