I can't speak to potential injuries and the likes, but I will say, that when I see larger people running on the treadmill, I think, "now that person is flippin' awesome!". I have a hard time myself and I only need to lose 15ish lbs. There is a lady at my gym that is there every single day, and she is likely 300lbs +, but…

I had a major gut after baby #2 and was running and running to no avail. I started lifting heavy and BAM, my tummy started to shrink. Here are results in just three weeks: May 4th/May 12th/May 24th. And also, I eat at approximately -20% TDEE, but I'm not a total freak about it. I did have an off week last week with the…

you WILL bounce back! with my first I didn't gain that much and was back to my pre baby weight within 9 weeks. this time around, has proven to be more difficult, but I am losing and feeling better so that's what counts. you have to make the time every, single.day to get in some exercise because it's hard to find the…

I suppose it's a strange question? I joined this site for the calorie counting tool, but have found the forum to be much more beneficial for me. I was just curious to see how many people actually counted their calories as a way to lose weight. I successfully lost the baby weight with number one without counting, but by…

Bonita, I would love if you could message me the program!? And I would love to join the group. Is there a link? Thanks!

this is only two weeks progress, but I'm happy for the results I have so far!

congratulations!! as a mother of two, I know what an accomplishment that is! keep up what you're doing!

ok, this makes me feel better, thanks! had no idea that it could effect the scale so much. and this my first time since having baby number two.

well, I'm eating 1500 cals because my estimated TDEE is at 2200, which puts me at a healthy weight loss of 1.3lbs a week. do you suggest I go up?

I use tinypic.com for my images. Are you changing the capital IMG's to lowercase before posting? Also, make sure you are taking measurments too, i'm sure you're hard work will show there even if it doesn't on the scale! [/quote] thank you! this worked!

Oh definitely. I did not attribute it to muscle gain, I don't know what to attribute it to!! except that today is that day of the month. sorry, men.

But my main goal right now is losing inches/weight. I have about 25 lbs to get to my pre baby weight, then wouldn't mind dropping another ten. Will consider dropping caloric intake, but from all I've read, I should be right around a target 1500.

you look amazing dixie!! thanks for the advice... I haven't even stepped on the scale since I started working out again, 6 weeks ago, because I just don't want to do that mental game. I know what I'm trying to achieve. :)

thank you everyone for the ideas! I think I need to do the plain greek yogurt and do my own additives because the sugar puts me too close to my max. I was doing smoked salmon with cottage cheese and lemon, but that meal is packed with sodium. I didn't realize cottage cheese had such high sodium levels. not a vegan, I just…

Thank you! Love the egg white only and almond butter ideas... trying to cut out calories while adding protein and yolks and peanut butter don't help with that!

I haven't specifically cut anything out, but I no longer eat the leftovers from my child's plate. I realized I was unknowingly consuming 200-300 extra calories a day just by having a few bites of her left over grilled cheese, or cupcake... etc.!! crazy!

So just to reiterate, if my main goal right now is to lose weight/inches, then a deficit is my sure fire way? I just keep reading all of this info that muscle building burns fat and to lift heavy if you want to lose inches? But in order to do that, you can't eat at a deficit as it won't build muscle. This is why I'm so…
