I have dessert every night. Portions and a sweet tooth have always been my problem, so every night I treat myself to a twix ice cream bar (170 calories) and even with a treat every night I have seen steady results the last few weeks and have yet to go over my calories or fat for the day since I started MFP

I do a stir fry (that's extremely filling) with 6 oz chicken breast, onion, mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, jalapeno, red pepper and some rice for about 450 calories. Don't stress if you go over, make up for it by taking a walk or something.

I started at 270 (Maurices size 17/18) and I'm only down about 10 lbs so I have yet to drop a pant size

I normally hate fruit so I decided to do the smoothie thing too! Here's what I do: 6 oz. greek yogurt (any flavor, I really like the Chobani pineapple or mango) 1 whole banana 1/2 cup frozen strawberries 6-7 ice cubes 1/4 cup of water It's delicious and low calories!

I hope not because I'm over on my protein every day! Usually by 40-50 grams, I've always heard though, if you're going to go over on something, best that it's protein.

My sister has struggled to lose weight after her two kids and has tried everything from alli, hydroxycut, sensa..etc. She didn't see a lot for results with any supplement she has tried and the second she stopped taking them she gained everything back and then some! I know it's tempting wanting to use something to see…

Their salsa is AMAZING but plan on eating it in the next few days because it only stays good for a couple days

I feel like it's hurt my chances of getting hired. Even though it's wrong to discriminate, that is part of the reason I decided to make this change, I'm currently a nursing student and I don't feel like I would be setting a good example for my patients if I stayed heavy.

I do my weigh ins on Monday mornings because it helps me stay on track over the weekend!

Well I'm glad we're already MFP friends because our journeys are so similar. I'm 24 and my goal is 120 lbs. I too will be starting up my college classes again in about two weeks while working full time and it is such a challenge to try and stay healthy while so busy. My trick is to substitute fast food convenience with…

I have two female bluetick coonhounds. The first was a rescue that we got about a year and a half ago and we fell in love with the breed so much we adopted another one this past Nov. They have so much energy, it's a great motivator to stay active!

I started eliminating things from my diet that were easy to go without; soda and fast food. When making a lifestyle change it's not realistic to ONLY eat super healthy options; the key is portion control. Instead of going to a drive thru for my lunches I thought of other fast and easy options and looked to nutrition…

I'm a newbie too hoping to go from 270 lbs. to 150! I never realized how much I could enjoy exercise and eating right! I have more energy and so much more will power than I thought, suddenly the junk food I'm constantly tempted with just isn't worth it!

I suppose I got lucky, my husband is my biggest supporter because he has seen first hand how unhappy I have been with myself for so long. I think you should set a goal for you and your spouse to complete together that is maybe geared toward men so it's more encouraging to him. My husband and I plan on competing in a…
