Also medications can make you hold on to more weight. I have had surgery a few times and its hard to bounce back. Talk to your Dr. and get some blood work done.Hang in there!

I had full by-pass lost 100lb. Its still hard work. All was covered by ins. 32,000. 250$ out of pocket. I still have a long way to go. Totaly worth it...if I could I would do it again. Vitamins cost about 100$ a month.

Being that it's close family I would talk to Dad not with sister around. It isn't that the food is just unhealthy but she would be malnourished eating like that. I know it's not ez to get children fed and off to school and events. I am a big fan of no sugar added carnation instant breakfast... kids can mix it up them…

Meat. Add a scoop of Ice cream to protein shakes. Olive oil or healthy oils... your body needs them to function.eat full fat yogert. cottage cheese ect.

These are great tips. You can also cook it in a crock pot over night with your frozen fruit so its ready when you wake. Also adding cottage cheese is good it makes the texture nice and gives a protein boost ( better for blood sugars).

I am guessing you don't want to use flour. Some Wheat flour with ground flax seed and baking powder would help much. I would use vanilla and cinnamon. The banana replaces the egg and oil in the cake. Happy Cooking:happy:

You may not be doing anything wrong. Go to your Dr. and get some blood work done your body may be telling you something.

I am very active and we like to spend time outdoors camping ect. Many years I pushed through the pain and now I need a total knee replacement, but have to wait another 12 years till I'm 50 to have it done. Now on bad days I have to stay home or use a cain just around my small house. Always talk to your Dr.

Just remember thin is not always the most healthy of the two. Try no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast for them with a piece of fruit for breakfast.
