No one ever notice that my socks don't match so I'm sure they don't notice you're size or how long you've been gone :) If you are paying for a membership, get your money's worth and a banging body while your at it!

Awesome progress!!

One meal on one day isn't going to sabotage your weight loss program. Just make sure you get some exercise in tomorrow, even if its just a walk after dinner. Drink plenty of water before dinner to prevent over eating.

I'll log my breakfast for sure and "try" to log the rest of the day, but don't count on it lol

I float somewhere between 5'0 and 5'2 (well that's what I tell myself lol) As you can see from my profile picture, I was a hefty little mama lol. My goal weight is 130 but I've been "stuck" around 140-143 but I am noticing the inches slowing going away. Being so short, our weight makes us look so round (well it did for…

i'm 5'2 (on a good day) and at my heaviest, I weight 196. i'm currently stay between 140 -145. What helped me was logging in the food. Once I saw how much I was eating and how much of it was wasted calories, it kicked started me into eating better. I started out slow by cutting back on junk (sodas, candy, cookies, cake,…

Seeing my ex yesterday and him being completely SPEECHLESS!!! I wish I could have recorded that moment!!!

I opt for low rise cotton boy shorts. They seem to fit best and minimize the panty line. I just can't do the commando thing at the gym LOL The best advise is wear panties that fit and dark colored pants or shorts.

I'm going to cook, eat, and enjoy. Between my dog requiring me to take him on long walks and just my need to keep moving, I am sure I will get my exercise in. Thanksgiving is the one holiday that I do eat my not so healthy foods, but of course in moderation and I stick to my water only drinks.

I appreciate your service to our country!! This site is a motivator. There's a lot of different groups and I am sure there's one geared towards military vets and PTSD. As long as you focus on your goal and don't let your setbacks keep you back, you will lose your 50+ pounds. I know Navy (three Navy brother-in-laws) you…

I have a blender I order from HSN (forgot the name) and it's pretty darn powerful! My smoothies usually consists of coconut water, kale, mixed frozen tropical fruit, banana and flax seed. they have just enough of sweetness to calm my sweet tooth and to fill me up.

Good luck on your new job! I would cut out the brown sugar, bagel, cheerios and cream cheese. If you want bread, do a slice of whole wheat toast with a little natural almond or peanut butter. For carbs I would do fruits, veggies, and whole grains.

I'm in Marietta (30067). Not a member of a gym currently (cancelled my Planet Fitness membership when I moved) but I do work out at least four times a week doing DVDs or just hitting the track for some walking/light jogging. I've been a "loner" when it comes to working out because most of my friends don't work out at all…

I'm in agreement with the earlier post, it's much more healthy when you make it yourself. Boxed meals like hamburger helper are full of preservatives to increase shelf life. Also it not only has sugar but corn syrup as well.

I have a thyroid condition (Grave's Disease) Don't know if I'm pre- menopausal (I had a partial hysterectomy back in 2008). I went through the hypothyroid stage a few years back. I had a really good doctor and she explained to me clearly, medication helps, but the best thing to do is to stay active with exercise and a…

Some thyroid conditions will cause your hair to fall out. I have Grave's Disease and currently dealing with my hair falling out. So I suggest you get some blood work done to make sure it's not your thyroid acting up.

Re-evaluate your meal plan. You need more calories than that just sleep. Your weight is going to go up and down naturally in the course of a month. Sometimes the weight may not change drastically but you will notice it when your clothes fit differently. Don't be hard on yourself, stay consistent, and know everyday you are…

I'm 5'2, and 44 years old. I stared at 193 lbs in 2010 (see my profile picture). In 2011 I started cutting out sodas and began walking. I lost 10 lbs in the first month. In 2012 I did a total lifestyle change. Cut out fast foods, processed foods, sugar and alcohol. I began walking everyday and doing strength exercises…

I'm right there with you! My co-work has put out a bowl of candy and all last week, I was eating it at the same time every afternoon. So far, I haven't had any chocolate since Friday ( I did have a mint because onion breath is not fitting for a diva LOL)

I made some oven roasted Brussels sprouts last night. Really simple recipe. fresh brussels sprouts washed and cut in half or quarters, olive oil, and your favorite seasonings. Toss the sprouts in the oil and seasonings until coated. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes, turning them about half way between. I cook mine a little…

I have been a desk jockey for over 20 years lol. Since I've adopted a healthy lifestyle a few things I do at work to make sure I active 1. I make sure I drink plenty of water or plain hot tea 2. I take the stairs for restroom breaks. 3. I go the long way to the rest room and wear a pedometer to count my steps 4. I do…
