I have Grave's Disease which is another form of hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed in 2009. I was on medication for about a year, but really didn't like being on medication. My doctor told me the key was to exercise and limit processed foods. Hypothyroidism makes you tired anyway, so you kind of need to stay away from those…

When I started my weight loss journey, I walked four miles five days a week, and changed my eating. In a nine month period I lost 40 pounds. I also cut out sodas and processed foods.

I have a desk job too. Lucky for me we do have a gym so I go there on lunch break. But if you don't have a gym, take a walk at lunch or walk the floors of your office building. I park as far as possible (safely) from the building, take the stairs to the office. Take the stairs to the furthest floor bathroom. You can do arm…

I workout during my lunch hour in my office gym. I do about 15 minutes on treadmill and about 20 minutes on some strength/weight training. A quick shower and I'm back upstairs. This helps during the winter months when I am less than motivated to leave the house once I get home in the evening LOL

I'm a 36DD and I found a NIke sports bra at Marshalls for $9.99 and I have a molded cup bra that I wear under it. Both bras together cost less that $20 and they keep the girls in place with no chaffing. Also I found sports bras that have the adjustable straps that cross offer more support.

I joined Planet Fitness about a year ago. It was a new one in my area. Lots of cardio machines and a very good size free weights area (that seems to be hit or miss at some Planet Fitness locations). They also have two rooms to do ab/floor work or if our someone like me, prefer to do your free weight work in a little more…

My grandmother was a diabetic and I was told I was pre-diabetic about three years ago. My doctor told me I could totally turn it around with diet and exercise. The first thing I did was cut out the sodas, juices, and alcohol. Then I started walking daily. Over time I traded my cookies and cakes for apples and bananas.…
