It depends on what you mean.... (EDIT: haha. sorry, you posted what you meant before I could submit my reply...ahh well) Do you mean will they be perky and perfect? Probably not. The more weight you lose, the more they will look a bit deflated :( The kicker is that those ARE normal a.k.a. real boobs! Models and actresses…

I like to weigh after the visitor leaves. I always retain water the week before/during, so I seem to be lower afterward! Its like a little reward for having to deal with "the curse" :)

Okay, I'm sorry but your ideas about frame and hips are a bit off. Your hips don't "go back to normal" after a baby. Once the hips spread through pregnancy and child birth, they stay that way. That's just basic biology/human anatomy. Anthropologists and medical examiners often use the pelvis and changes to it to identify…

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're from a Southern state? Having lived in both northern and southern areas of the country, its funny what some regions get up-in-arms about and find "provocative". I just can't understand how skirts are supposedly LESS provocative than shorts. Now, I don't mean to sound…

I can't speak for anyone else, but because my girls are of the D variety, I have to wear two sports bras to make them behave during exercise. Unless you're a B or smaller, there are very few non-tight sports bra options that will still serve its purpose (de-gigglage!)

If I had the money, I would practically move in to the surgeon's office. I love myself as a person just great. The outside doesn't match how I feel on the inside, however, and if I had the pennies to pay, I'd pay a pretty one to make them match!! Are there risks with surgery? Yep. There are also risks every time I get into…

I have to echo the "Jimmy John's Unwich" suggestions. I find they are handy and keep me full even without the bread. Yes, it is a bit high in sodium, but its quick and easy! Love it! I usually get the Bootlegger Club Unwhich!

OH how I feel your pain!!! It is SOO freakin frustrating!! I'm at the 32 pound mark, and I'm in the same boat.

I hope you get some good ideas, because I need some good music, too. I'm an elliptical-er, so I like fast (but not techno). Do you have "I run for life" from Melissa Ethridge? It came on during my last 5 minutes last night and practically saved me! GREAT inspiration and good tempo. Its slightly embarrassing, here are some…

Me too. If I eat too soon after I get up (and that usually means within the first hour and a half), I get sick and have to camp out in the bathroom for awhile. I've been that way since I was a teenager. Personally, I find that eating more in the morning does NOT result in me eating less during the rest of the day. That's…

I've been avoiding Chinese just because I'm not sure what the calories/sodium and such are like! It would be great if someone had estimates. It seems like my favorite local place uses a lot of oil, so even if I get the broccoli with garlic sauce I feel like I'm being baaaaad! :)

I find that MFP highly OVERestimates calories burned from some exercises. In a 45-minute elliptical workout, MFP puts my calories around 300 more than the machine does. I'd be more likely to trust the machine since it monitors how hard/fast I'm actually working and the resistance level.

Yes! There is a difference. People who see you every day might not notice, so do not let that discourage you. In the side-by-side pics, you bet. I can definitely see changes. Good job! Be proud of yourself!

It is amazing what we take for granted sometimes, and what an impact it can have on our lives when things just don't work quite the way they're supposed to. I'm glad your body is begining to cooperate!!

Yes, it counts.

Yeah...no delete function. Bummer :)

My final "goal" is about 10 pounds below what I call my "normal fat weight." My "normal fat weight" is the weight I had been maintaining as an adult for a good amount of time. I'm not quite sure what happened, but 30 hit me like a Mack-freakin-truck. I didn't make any adjustments for it, though, and over 3-4 years I gained…

Perhaps I'm giving away my age here, but in the 80s I recall a product awfully similar sounding except it was a pill. It was supposed to expand in your stomach to make you feel full. .... You don't hear about it anymore. If it worked, it would still be around. I suspect the same there here. Bottom line: There are NO magic…

Do they still have the Barbecue Jack Chicken that comes with broccoli instead of mashed potatoes?? I haven't been there in a while, but I remember that being not too terrible on calories (around 500-600 range) and tasted pretty good. But then I like the JD sauce!

I have to STRONGLY disagree on this one. Step is tough on the ankles, especially if they're already tweaked. Doing step on a knee that felt "off" landed me in crutches (I just finished a post on that actually!). Don't push your joints or they'll retaliate!
-
UPDATE: Almost 3 weeks of no activity, including a week and a half on crutches I can say......Lesson learned!! LISTEN to your body when it says something is not right!! I sprained the medial cruciate ligament in my right knee. I was put on crutches and could barely put weight on it for a looong time....all because I…

I'm a serious Pear seems to keep even more junk in her pear trunk! It's not pretty ;)

I hear you. I threw all 'good habits' out the window this weekend. I paid for it on the scale this morning (hopefully its a lot of 'sodium' weight!) but....It was a holiday and its just one day. I'm back on track today, and I'll go from here. There is no damage that can't be undone!! Its a balancing act, right?! There will…

Personally, I hate the MFP Facebook updates. I don't do them, and it irritates me when other people do them. To me, they come off as "Compliment me!! Compliment me!" and I just don't work that way! I don't talk much about my 'journey' with most people because I do it for me, not so that they'll tell me I look great or…

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You must have worked hard and really dedicated yourself! I hope you are really, really proud of your accomplishments!!

Everyone needs to vent sometimes, and I'm sorry you're going through a rough time. Sometimes, its all in the perspective. That's not to say I don't understand the urge to say 'screw it' and binge, because oooooooh man I do. But.... The old saying about being happy being the best revenge is true. Keep up what you're doing.…

Normally, I would say a Tablespoon isn't going to make or break you....but for me that one tablespoon leads to MORE!! And it would get ugly :( If you can stop at 1, I say go for it :)

I understand the comments to your boyfriend being an issue (and justifiably so), but is it possible that you are being overly sensitive? Maybe her make-up-ing and comments about her style weren't about YOU?

Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. One week is a drop in the bucket, so you'll either need to relax and gain some patience and perspective, or you'll end up quitting. Quitting shouldn't be an option, so that leaves patience.

I don't have any scientific reason or nutritional knowledge that makes me say this, just my own self, but I would eat something with some protein in it to hold you over and call it a day. Otherwise, if it were me, I'd wake up in the middle of the night starving (leading to 3 am kitchen raids for anything I could shove in…
